Use a binder instead of water
My first batch failed.. I didn’t pour them all the way to the top.. the 2nd batch came out great but I used a feather edge concrete with a small amount of sand and used a concrete liquid binder instead of water. I stained them with a couple of different colors of watered down latex paint

Please, give advice on what composition to use for making bricks?
Please, anyone, would you like to recommend plaster or something else for making bricks. Bricks in the form break / pop and I cannot use them. What material to use for making bricks? The form is of very high quality. I like it so much. Thanks for any recommendation.

no instructions included (or anywhere!)
The mold itself is 5 star quality. The detail is amazing! However if you're not a molding pro you may find it impossible (as I did) to make anything from it. There are no instructions included as to what (if any) mold release you should use, what recipe you should use i you want to cast from concrete/mortar or anything else. I tried every recipe I could find via google and ended up with a pile of broken pieces and loads of leftover materials. Due to the lack of recipe every batch I made came out a different color and texture, but every one of them shattered when being removed. There seemed no need for mold release the first 4 times, but after that it became obvious the bricks weren't coming out without a fight. My guess is you need a mold release and experience with molding to make this worth purchasing.

Impressed
The molds came earlier than expected. We used plaster for a quicker dry time. 30 minutes later we got pretty impressive brick veneers. Pretty happy with this purchase.

High quality mold
This is a thick mold. It is well made with apparent attention to detail. It came with an instruction sheet that basically told me what kind of mix to buy. It also had instructions for making you own mix to save money. For my very first attempt to make bricks, I used a pre made mix from a big box store. it was too easy. The only caveat I have is that I used generic baking spray for a release agent. It worked perfectly. As soon as I can finish my vibrating concrete table, I will really put this put to work.

Durable money-saver
Very durable, easy to use. I used clay to fill the mold and after drying, I fired them into brick veneer. I made over 700 and the mold is still in perfect condition. It is a bit dirty, but the details are still fantastic!
