I'm so impressed with this product, I bought a second one to add to my briefcase for travel. The product comes in a well made box, thoughtfully packaged, even includes a pouch for travel. The piece feels solid in the hand, material and finish is top notch, and the lip that slides under your laptop to improve stability is a great design feature. I plugged it into my MacBook Pro and everything just works. No fiddling, truly plug-n-play. As seen in the picture, I have the piece driving two external displays along with several USB connections. When I travel, I'd simply slide the piece out with all the cables attached, leave it behind as-is and use the second unit in my briefcase on the road. Compliments to the manufacturer for a job well done on a high quality product.

Worked well for a little while but eventually it stops being detected by the Macbook until you restart and reset your Macbook.

I purchased this for my office to attach two HDMI monitors and to use them as extended screens (not mirroring images). This works perfectly for that and attaching two USB hubs.The one issue I did not plan for, was the adaptor will only work on the left side of the Mac, whereas It can be used on the right side, the adapter would not be flush with the Mac.

This adapter is really useful for MacBook Pro.I use the Dual HDMI and USB for my wireless mouse and keyboard and 3.5mm audio jack and all have worked so great.All interfaces work perfectly, both HDMI ports work with 4k @ 30Hz at the same time is also no problem.And if you want keep the monitors when you keep the lid of MBA closed, you just need to make the settings in the Energy Saver of MacBook system and just choose the first choise: Prevent computer from sleeping when the display is off.Sometimes the MacBook is not in charging,I have contacted seller and asked does it have any issues.Seller let me know the reason that the PD Protocol,so the hub will cut off the connection with MacBook with sleeping mode,just need to unplug and plug again.Overall,it's well made, appears to be machined well, and can fit easily just about anywhere in your laptop case/bag. I would recommend it.

I purchased one adapter that I used for a few days before I started having issues with my computer not always charging and the WIFI cutting in and out. I requested a replacement, which was a quick easy process. I received the replacement. It's small, which is nice. I've connected the power cord, two monitors via HDMIs, a keyboard and mouse via USB, and a speaker via the audio jack. The monitors work great, as to the keyboard and mouse. The speaker doesn't work, half the time the laptop doesn't charge when plugged in, and my WIFI still cuts out. I have no charging or WIFI issues if I'm not using the adapter.I will keep the adapter because I use three monitors and ergonomic keyboard and mouse, and this is the least expensive adapter I've found, but I won't purchase it again

After owning this product for a year+ it is great. However, when using any 4k or dual monitor setup. This device gets really hot. After a few hours of usage. My mac would get really hot and would slow computer down, after disconnecting the 4k monitor, the computer seemed to perform better but still would run hot. It doesn't help the device is attached to the mac, it does look great aesthetically speaking but hinders computer temp. I'd suggest to get one with a cord to avoid this flaw.

This dock feels built really solid. You plug it in and it just works too. I haven't tested dual HDMI output yet, but it definitely worked great with a single HDMI. I'm using a 2018 Macbook Pro and I was able to use both USB and HDMI, WITH pass through charging, which is probably the most important part. When I was looking for a dock I went through a whole ton of them on amazon with fakespot and found there was tons with fake reviews, but this one had good reviews and it didn't look like there was any deception involved, and I tell why, it's just a solid product. If I had another laptop I'd definitely buy another one. I already recommended it to a coworker who saw it and pretty much immediately wanted one.TLDR; It's a solid dock and it does what it says on the tin. Would buy again if I ever needed to for whatever reason.

I work from home and thought that I was purchasing a quality device for my brand new (expensive!) MacBook Pro. I rely on two separate monitors as well as a USB mouse and USB backup drive (for TimeMachine). This product worked without issue for one month and then the HDMI port started to act up (one monitor would not come on after wake-up) and I had to unplug and re-plug the HDMI cable in. Today, exactly three (3) months after purchase, I no longer have use of one of my two monitors, my mouse, as well as my backup drive. And I'm in the middle of a massive project.I dislike Apple's monopoly but buy their products because they work. I made a mistake here in purchasing a non-Apple USB-C hub and sincerely regret my decision. If you utilize your computer for anything more than playtime, do yourself a favor AND DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT.
