Natural IceMedicated Lip Protectant/Sunscreen SPF 15, Original 48 ea

I have bought this lip balm in bulk and used it constantly for the past 20+ years. It was the only one to truly offer me relief and the quality has been consistent over two decades. I've had no problems until this last purchase of 48. These have less product and the dispenser dial at the bottom is cheaper, not locking in place when it gets closer to the bottom. On several of these new tubes, the wax cake has completely fallen out when I took the cap off to use.In the photo, on the left is a brand new older tube and the right is a brand new tube from my most recent batch. There's 1/2" less product in the same size tube. The label does say there is less weight (older one = .16oz; newer one = .15oz), but I swear, it is noticeably lighter than .01oz.I know costs go up and a business has to make money, but it's disappointing after being able to rely on the same product for literally half of my life. I would rather just pay more and get the same quality I've come to expect. If you can only afford to put less in each tube, that's fine, just keep the better tubing so I won't have to throw it away because the stick falls out half-way through. The balm itself doesn't seem to have as much staying power as it used to, so I would just ask the company to carefully rethink any changes they've made to this product because your long-time customers are noticing.

F——We have been very faithful Natural Ice users for more than 10 years and this purchase was absolutely a different recipe! It melts in my purse, is super liquidity, Our lips got sunburned on spring break, not the original formula what so ever! Stay away from this brand! We are actively on the search for a good brand since Natural Ice has gone down the toilet .

This lip balm is the most soothing and best for protecting lips. I've been using it for 50 years (when it used to be named "mentholatum") Nothing else I've tried over the years has been as effective (not even close). That's why I buy it in bulk. Plus my whole extended family uses it!

Only three stars because these are not the green top seal tubes. They are the newer white seal. I’m sure they will be great but I do not like the newer product-they do melt easier and have a horrible texture once they set back up.I am a mentholatum stick addict and cannot be without one on my person at all times. This is a great deal-as they are harder and harder to find-just wish they were as advertised.

We love this lip balm for all year round protection from the sun while golfing, boating and paddle boarding. Keeps our lips moisturized all winter long too. It's long-lasting per application and love the light minty/menthol flavor.

I like it, its not as good as the original recipe that was used but still works good.
