Four Stars
A well written Novel!

Predictable and formulaic
The book starts well but becomes very predictable after a while. Towards the end, the characters behave quite uncharacteristically and the story takes turns that are not very believable.

Fake!
The book seems to be a fake and not an original from the publisher.

Tedious.
I have enjoyed all of the Daniel Silva books I have read so far. Until this one. Boring and tedious springs to mind. There really was no excitement or tension. I really could not have cared less, about the plot or the characters. In particular, the needy, whining wife of Michael Osbourne grated badly. And Michael himself was a bore. Not for me.

Very good condition
I have read most of Daniel Silva's newer books either the library or buying new. Never been able to get this title before.Found this title on Amazon and previously used. Very good quality and a good read as usual.

More of the Best
Daniel Silva has a new 'investigator'. I could go on reading about Gabriel Allon's tactics forever but I realise he is getting on in years and deserves a rest. He evidently, has retired (probably to recover from his numerous wounds). I am enjoying Daniel Silva's new 'detective', Michael Osbourne, and surprise - he is a painter, too. I will watch out for a new novel as I am completely up to date with Daniel Silva's books.
