These worked great in an older mobile home to fix a leaking pipe. I added an 18" 3/8" flex pipe from here to the sink, allowing me to reverse the pipes so the hot would be on the left side. The only problem in installing these was cutting the old pipe, there wasn't much room, and the pipe would collapse instead of cutting with my PVC cutters.

Would be nice if all parts came
This part is what I needed, but the nut on the 1/2" side was not included. Also it would be nice if the description mentioned that the other side is 3/8" and not 1/2". Other than that I can make it work I think. Shipping was fast.

Works great on Poly tubing as well!
Finally found a product that works well in my Mobile Home. I keep extra's and I highly recommendthis Stop valve to anyone doing repairs on their water lines in older model Mobile Homes.

Excellent stuff
Flair-it fittings, valves and adapters are the best I've worked with and never had one leak or work loose.I have a house built with a now extinct polybutylene system and my water is a bit acidic which corrodes all the metal fittings. I used Flair-it when I replaced the polybutylene manifold with a PEX plastic one and had to adapt the polybutylene pipes to the manifold. The polyb pipe was not rated to work with the PEX manifold valves and replacing all the pipe wasn't an option. So I used a short section of PEX pipe to connect to the manifold and Flair-it in-line double male couplers (which work with both PEX and polybutylene pipe) to adapt to the polyb pipe. They were so easy to work with and worked so well I started using them in all my plumbing repairs around the house. Since then I've replaced every metal local valve in the house (toilets and sinks) with one of these particular ones. They seem, very well made. No crimping. Just push the pipe onto it and screw the collar down tight. Very highly recommended.
