Not 140 lb thickness
This is very nice cardstock, but it is not 140lb thickness, as listed. More like 110lb. I would not have bought it had I known, as I have 110lb and also 140lb, so was able to directly compare.I will return this package and look further. I gave it 4 stars because of the incorrect category listing. If you need a good cardstock of medium weight, this will suffice, but not for any extra-thick needs.

A bargain heavyweight paper that I would buy again.
Excellent value for money, but doesn't hold up to Arches heavyweight paper. Can't handle wet on wet media very well, but not too bad if you take your time and patently wait for the paper to dry before applying more wet media.I bought it to create hand bound journals, which I use to write in like a diary, as well as paint, sketch, and draw.Excellent for dry media. Be careful with wet media.

140 pound / 253g/m2 paper
After reading all the comments against various thick papers, about people not getting the thickness they expect, I was not sure what to expect, but I had some thinner paper from this company and it seemed as claimed, so I tried.Happily, this worked out about as I wanted. 250 sheets of this is almost as thick as 1000 sheets of the 20 pound paper I normally use; the package label claims 140 pound / 253 grams per square metre, both of which seem about right compared to my normal paper. The individual sheets are stiff and opaque, but they feed well through my printer (I can't send them through the duplexer, which only handles up to 100 pound, but otherwise no problems so far). I use a colour laser printer, and they take toner quite well; I have not seen any flaking or spottiness or other toner acceptance problems.

This cardstock IS substantial enough for crafts and cards. Finally found what I was looking for.
Finally found a cardstock that is substantial enough for crafts and that cuts well with a silhouette cameo cutter. The craft stores and office supply stores simply do not carry what I was looking for. Wasted money by purchasing others proclaiming to be "heavy weight" only to discover they were too flimsy. I'm making theatrical props (see photo) and my son is in a "games design" class and needed to print out cards. Prints well using the inkjet: [we used the rear feed on manual for a straight pass through as the paper is too thick for the automated tray to roll it from below]. I am extremely happy with this product!

Variable quality
I have bought this paper several times over the last two years and have seen the quality of the paper decline. Very heavy presence of recycled black, red or blue particulate makes this difficult to use for the cards we make. The paper will almost always arrive completely lose with many sheets on the top or bottom either scratched or bent. Having just recently ordered directly from Neehan paper the quality is profoundly better and it makes me wonder what we have been getting when we have ordered this paper in the past. It’s almost like they sell the reject paper at this lower price. Do yourself a favor just order from the manufacturer directly and save yourself the headache.

Very happy with this product...
So glad I took a chance and bought this paper...The price is FABULOUS... (A local store was selling 140 lb Strathmore paper at $25 for 25 sheets, and the 250 pack for $225!!!)I have been using 110 lb paper, and wanted a paper that's a bit heavier for water coloring... I have a Canon imageCLASS MF3010 Laser Multifunction Printer... I called Canon, and was told that my printer won't print on paper heavier than 55 lb... Being that I'm already printing on 110 lb, I knew that what I was told was not true... So, I ordered this paper... Received it today, and it prints PERFECTLY on my printer... So glad I took the chance and bought this paper...

Great cardstock.
I love this cardstock. I make miniature dollhouse furniture and up until now I was using 110 lb. This is so much better to make things with. Goes through my inkjet printer perfectly. I love the thickness. Nice heavy paper.

Very heavy paper - good value
I got this paper to do artwork and other crafting, and it has really met my needs in those departments. For my artwork, I do lots of cut-out shapes and collages, and this paper works well with cutting machines, as well as backing for other images. It did not want to co-operate with my lower end printer, but not really an issue since I can just use it as a backing for a thinner image. For crafting it works very very well with my Silhouette paper cutting machine, and I'd highly recommend it for anyone with one of those.I'll also note that they made me sign for this delivery, so keep that in mind.
