When this towel first arrived, I was very pleased with the weight of it and texture. I had only washed it once before it’s first use, but I’m a little disappointed. The absorbency is poor, kind of just pushes the water around. Hoping it will get better with subsequent washes. I hate returning things, so I’ll just keep trying to break it in. We’ll see how it goes for daily bath use, But as a beach or patio chair cover this towel would be great as is.When trying to choose your Turkish towel, I recommend looking at the weight of each towel. Anything under 11 to 12 ounces, will probably feel very chintzy. I’ve converted the household to Turkish towels for daily use, because they wash and dry very quickly. And they don’t have that funky smell the terrycloth towels develop after just a couple uses. It does feel different, it’s a little bit of an adjustment, But once it’s familiar you won’t be disappointed. I recommend tightening every single knot on the fringe before washing though. Some people have reviewed that the strings came untwisted and they were displeased. I’ve not had that issue, but I took the time to tighten everything up. Also, soak in a dilute vinegar bath to set the color before washing the first time. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase and will probably get a second more manly color for my husband! I bought this towel to bring on backpacking trip because it can pull multiple duty as a bath towel, beach towel, or shawl. I have found it to be very absorbent and comfortable to use after a shower, and even though it's a bath sheet sized towel, it dries really fast hung over a line. Also doesn't weigh much so good or a pack.

I ordered 3 towels to use as beach towels & I absolutely LOVE them! They take up very little room in my beach bag. They get softer & softer with each wash & are so nice to curl up in or wear as a cover-up while hanging out by the pool. I have since purchased a bunch of the towels to use in my bathroom - body towels and the hand towels. They are so pretty, dry so quickly & never get that musty smell that regular towels get. Looking forward to filling all of my bathrooms with these towels!

This towel was great, really soft and absorbent, but the colors clashed with my cornflower blue and white bathroom, making the towel look dingy and sad. So I did return it, but I still like these towels a lot and am keeping an eye out for color combos that might work better for my bath. The towel was very nicely packaged in a thick plastic zipper bag, which was a nice quality touch.

The towels are what I expected, they are very good quality, soft and thin. As some reviewers have mentioned, there is a slight odor right out of the bag, but it isn’t too bad. The mulberry color is beautiful and the tassels at both ends adds to their charm. My only negative is the shrinkage factor. I purchased these because of their size, the length was almost long enough to cover our pool lounge chairs, however they shrunk about 5 inches on the length after the first wash, which was a big disappointment. But the towels themselves are a great purchase and I’m very happy with them.

I actually purchased this towel to use initially for a photo prop, and it fulfilled that duty perfectly! The turquoise color is maybe a tad bit brighter than the listing photo, but it's a beautiful color that I would describe as more aqua than turquoise. The towel itself is pretty thin, and I haven't gotten to test out it's absorbency yet, but it seems well made- no pulls or loose threads in the fabric. Tags came with clear washing instructions, so no questions there on how to care for it. I appreciate the natural color tassels, as I'm not super fond of the bleached white look. The size is great- I can see us bringing this to the beach to lay on the sand for our baby to sit on as well!
