Yahoo-more music!
I was shown this book at the accordion group, some of whose members join the scottish music group. There is a nice variety of ethnic music for accordions, including some intriguing rhythms.

Great notation, great selections...
If you're at the beginner/intermediate level, this is a good book to pick up on after you finish your Mel Bay Deluxe Accordion Method book. ;)I've only mastered (well, learned, anyway) a couple of the songs, but 100 songs for this price ain't bad.

Uninteresting songs
The songs are too simple for my tastes. Not much variety from song to song. Some songs may be useful for certain occasions.

Mel bay 100 tunes
This book has 100 songs but I have never heard of one of them. The songs are all less than one page long, and they are difficult to play. If you are a beginner or intermediate player this book is not for you. If you want to sing along forget it.

It was much too easy for me (maybe Grade 3 standard)
Book is perfectly ok, though most tunes very short and seemed rather similar. It was much too easy for me (maybe Grade 3 standard), but would be fine for a relative beginner. Therefore I sent it back. If you could look inside it before purchasing, this could be avoided.

Great collection of tunes here
Great source of new tunes from all over the American continent plus a great review of the tunes from the UK that have travelled across the Atlantic. Well presented in an easy to read and play style too.

Accordion music
Good quality book with clear print. Bass notes also given. Worth the money for any accordion enthusiast

too simple
This is a book of nice easy tunes. Not enough of the scottish reels and strathspeys though - and no harmony. Good for a relative beginner.
