can use this product with water hot?

The washing machine sediment filter attaches directly to the washing machine water faucets for either hot or cold intake. The Maximum Temperature is 320 degrees Fahrenheit or 160 degrees Celsius.(from Washing Machine Inline Water Filter 85470 Specs)

Would this work on a dish washer? Has anyone tried?

I used them on my washing machine for a week and replaced them with heavy duty water filters from Pure Water Products. The latter will probably work on a dish washer.

do i need it on hot and cold?

I am not a plumber- however I only put one on our cold. Our hot water line goes through a heater that has a separate screen filter before it goes into the heat exchanger.I would think the best way to tell if you need one on your hot water line would be to check the screen on the washer. If your hot water input has sediment, then yes. Otherwise I would think you would only need one on the cold.

Which accessories are required to protect washing machine from heavy irony water ?

Don't buy these. #1 they aren't meant for that and #2 they suck.
