You didn't know you needed these but you do. I promise.
OK, these are cool. I have a short list of things I never knew I wanted and stumbled on. I found these after I looked for a big battery organizer and they were suggested. I'm glad I was in a browsing mood because these Immediately earned a place on my list.I've kept my backpacking and emergency kit batteries in ziploc bags. And if you've done that you definitely found that they are impossible to grab in the bag. Need 2 AAAs? You're going to end up dumping that bag out because they knew you were coming and conspired to become slippery eels. And comparing sizes. Or had a corrosion incident cover the bag and try to carefully extract everything one by one. Or have the bag break and have batteries scatter like marbles where you'll definitely lose a few. When I came across these I figured it was worth a try. I am IMPRESSED. I've done my share of machining and designing and I spent about five minutes shaking these. They snap in very easily but hold well. I really tried. I shook these like a toddler with a maraca. Nada. But they are super easy to get out. I think I could put one in and get one out one handed. That doesn't often go with a strong hold. They are light enough to add to my pack but sturdy. I trust they wont be failing me soon. The exact right mix to be reliability durable with no more after than. I'm excited to need a battery on the trail and easily grab these suckers from my small bits and bobs bag. I've never known anyone not to cringe and go digging when they need a battery. Not this girl! Accidentally drop my bag? Reach over and pick up all my batteries together that did not roll separate ways and are all connected.I got the glow ones and I don't expect the ones in my pack to get light but for my emergency kit crate... Now that will be handy. Even with a very faint glow they will be effective should my headlamp go out in a no power situation. Even for the pack, though, if I need to mess with batteries at night Ill hold my headlamp over these for 10 seconds and they will glow enough to not be invisible on a picnic table.Honestly just get these. These are next year's stocking suffers. I don't know anyone in my life that couldnt use these. And I never considered they even existed before now. Cool little things, super happy.

This battery holder is above and beyond!!
I almost never give 5 stars. This battery holder is above and beyond. Heavy, thick material that has only one small moving part which holds the batteries in place. That part is moved by the insertion or extraction of the battery and moves very little. Just push the battery in or out. No unlatching anything. That little finger is only under stress during the time the battery is inserted or removed. The flex point is large and robust. No flimsy covers that pop open when dropped, or in the gig bag. For rechargables, the batteries can be put in negative or positive first - makes for an easy way to tell at a glance which cells are charged and which are drained. And they stay that way whether the holder is at capacity or only has a few cells stored. Seriously, THE VERY BEST battery holder I've ever seen! Yes, I'm gushing. The folks who engineered them got the design and materials perfect. The glow-in-the-dark material is cool and of some help in the dark. Available in many sizes to suit one's individual needs.

Clean way to store AA's for travel
I've been using tiny cardboard boxes, reinforced by tape, for a while to store batteries I carry in my backpack for travel. This is better than straight tape, which leaves an awful residue, but the boxes deteriorate over time and let batteries tumble all throughout the bottom of my bag. This little product is great. The AA variant is super common and thus very affordable. They're made in the US, and normal name-brand batteries (I have the majors and one store brand to test) all snap in comfortably with a hair of wiggle room. They feel fairly study, but I'll put them to the test here shortly. I'll update this if I have issues, but I kind of doubt it. The plastic feels pliable, not brittle, so I'm not worried about drops.

Six Stars for Battery Organization!!!
I love the organization provided by these battery holders. I have them for AAA, AA, C, D, and 9-volt batteries. I have larger capacity ones for the AA and AAA batteries that I tend to buy in bulk packs. With the holder, I can see at a glance how many batteries I have and batteries aren't trying you escape to freedom as they do from the bulk packaging. Most of mine are in orange, but I bought a yellow one for my backpack. I know if it's on the table, it's not in the backpack and I may be without an on-the-go battery replacement. This for-the-backpack strategy my be organizational overkill for some, but regardless these are of undisputable quality and immeasurably useful. I highly recommend them.

Great for backpacking
Purchased these battery holders for camping backpack use. Wanted something that would keep batteries secure from just rolling around in backpack. These seem like just what I was looking for. Batteries “snap” into the holder securely but not so much as to make them difficult to remove for use. Plus they come in little plastic baggies which you can reuse to keep them dry. Haven’t tested the bags for waterproofing but seems like they’d be an additional measure to help keep the batteries dry. The neon colors will help find them in the dark, assuming your flashlight has died. Very happy with purchase. Would and may buy again.

Misrepresented! RIP off
The wording is vague (and differs to others) as to whether you are getting enough to store 4?or 16 batteries (I.e. 4 packs that store 4 batteries each). YOU ARE ACTUALLY GETTING 1 PACK WHICH MAKES THEM VERY EXPENSIVE FOR ESSENTIALLY WHAT IS A BIT OF PLASTIC
