PHLCEhot Women Long Tunic Dress Kaftan Maxi Dress Batwing 3/4 Sleeve Plus Size Summer Dress Navy Blue

This review is for 2 different kaftans by the same retailer. The first one regards the dark blue kaftan with white embroidery, which is a beautiful garment, although the photograph is misleading, as the sleeves are more fitted and not as long as shown. I am a size 18-20 and 5' 9", and found this to be both a good fit and a good length - the kaftan was ankle length on me. I think the 'one size' would be too small for anyone above size 20 though. If you want a loose, flowing garment, this is not the one for you - at least not unless you are very slim. It is almost a tailored dress and very flattering - it makes me think of a cheongsam, except that it doesn't have a high neck and isn't as close fitting. Too nice to be simply worn around the house or used to cover swimwear, it could easily be worn for an evening out, dressed up with pretty sandals and some ethnic jewellery. It's made of cotton so will be cool in hot weather. Other reviewers have commented on these kaftans having an unpleasant smell; I must be lucky as I haven't had that problem. I haven't laundered it yet, but will probably hand-wash it at first, in case the colour runs.The second review concerns a white kaftan with a multi-coloured pattern. This is much more generously sized and not as fitted as the dark blue one. It is also shorter and comes to about lower mid-calf on me. I would guess that it would fit up to size 26-28. It isn't as flattering as the dark blue kaftan, but it is fine as a simple cover-up for wearing round the house/garden/hotel room/pool. It is made of a silky man-made fabric but its loose fitting means that it should be cool in hot weather. It isn't as well made as the blue kaftan, however, as - somewhat confusingly - the side seams seem to be sewn the wrong way round. At first I thought it was a design feature, but it appears to be a careless error on the part of the seamstress - not something I would expect to find in a garment which isn't particularly cheap. It's strange how two garments from the same retailer can differ so in quality.

Bought this to troll around the house instead of getting dressed when I work from home in these virus hit times. Was cheap but also very cheaply made and tiny! Didn’t bother sending it back. Gave it to a tiny friend.

The photo displaying my navy blue Kaftan with white embroidery doesn’t look as rich and Royal close up.The material is soft and comfortable and it fits well on me . I wanted to wear it on holiday,looks like I’m going to have to wear it as a nighty in my bedroom😥. My advice to the people who are the owners is show more close-ups instead of displaying your items in high definition with added colour . I want your business to succeed I want your customers to be happy, But this is misleading and unfair . I wish you the very best with your business and hope you take my advice on board . Thank you. The kaftan was not as specified, I have bought several kaftans at the same size and they fit perfectly , the size you sent me was more like a size 12.So not happy.

This product is being used as dusters due to the present situation. Otherwise it would be in the bin.

the sleeves are fitted and tight, not like the picture shows, on the picture they look more flowing... not at all... Would not recommend if you want a nice comfy house dress
