Good quality, with a couple of issues
I had a cheap wallet case for my Iphone 5, and i loved not having to carry a wallet. I decided to get something better, and I didn't want anything that folded over the screen, that I would have to open when using the phone. This case does add a decent amount of thickness to the phone, but still quite acceptable, as the Iphone 5 is pretty thin. I read some reviews about not being able to have any protection when laying the phone face down, but that isn't true. The sides of the case do extend slightly higher than the screen. The top and bottom of the phone are unprotected, but the compromise here is that the power button and the ports on the bottom of the phone have easy access. The real leather is nice, and the magnet is very strong to hold the storage flap shut. Over all, this is a good case. Here's the bad: there is a pouch (slot) on the back of the case to put cards, but it is too narrow to put any cards in it. I'm not sure what the use is for this, as cards will not fit, and you don't want cash sticking out of the back of your phone. The other problem is that I want this to be as small as possible, and I really only need to carry my drivers license and my credit card, but only having two cards does not allow the magnetic flap to securely hold them in place. It is very easy for the cards to slid out of this case. I was going to send it back for this reason, but it seems that three cards gives it more security, so i may add a third. Now, if you like a bulky pocket and you put 6 or 7 cards in here, it may actually work quite well. This case with 3 cards doubles the thickness of the phone. I would like this case much better if it would only hold a couple of cards, so it wouldn't be as think and hold them more securely. They should also eliminate the pouch on the back, as there is no purpose to it.

Don't abuse it and you will love it
Without considering it's functionality as a wallet this is the best case I have found for my iPhone. It fits cleanly to the iPhone without adding any significant bulk and it feels great and secure in my hand.Based on my son's experience with this case, however, you should be warned not to try and fill it too it's maximum advertised limits. If you put credit cards in the outer pocket, you will find it very tight at first. but the leather will stretch over time the cards will eventually start slipping out far too easily. Same goes for the inner section. You want as much of the magnet holding it down flush with the back of the phone. The more you put in there, the less effective the magnet becomes.I only put a few bills in the outer pocket folded lengthwise, with a 1/3 fold down. This keeps me from pushing the bills too far into the pocket where they become difficult to remove. In the inner section I carry 3 credit cards 2 IDs and 2 business cards. I have had this case for a month now and have not once missed my wallet, which I always had stuffed to the gills.I see some have complained that it is not durable, or that it is cheaply made. I have only had it for a month now, but it looks very well made to me and if you take care of and are careful with your phone, I do not see why it would not last as long as your phone does. If you are hard on your phone, then maybe any leather case is not right for you.A great case and a great wallet. I highly recommend it.

Great little iPhone case
I used to always carry a wallet but in the past few years, I only carry 3 credit cards and hardly ever need to carry cash anymore. But I always have my cell phone with me, so the Vaultskin phone case was great for my needs. It’s not too bulky so it’s nice and slim. It easily holds my credit cards and driver’s license and there’s a slot in the back in case you want to bring a few cash bills. Most times. I don’t even need to bring my wallet with me anymore. The phone easily slide out, if you need to remove it. You do have to be a little bit careful to make sure your credit cards are secure. The back flap that holds the cards secures with a magnet. One time my cards fell out in my garage which concerned me but it’s really not a problem once you have the hang of it. Also, after a few years, it did wear a little bit so I got a new one. But with all the times I removed the phone to put it in my UNU, I felt that it had a good life span. I would definitely recommend buying this item.

great slim design, poor durability
This wallet has broken apart after 6 months and I'm stilling giving it 4 starts because I love the design. If you're looking to empty your pockets by combining wallet and phone into one, I believe this is your best option. It's big enough to hold essential cards, but small enough that you don't look like you're holding a big wallet to your ear when you talk on the phone. Two points that many other reviewers have made: 1) the magnet works great. Your cards stay put normally, buy are easy to get out in the checkout line. This thing is thin which is the whole point. 2) the plastic walls of case are so thin that they will eventually crack and break. In my case, that took 6 months. If you want a sturdier product, try the CM4 iPhone 5 wallet. It has much stronger walls. I bought it first, but didn't like it because the storage is too small. It only holds 3 cards and even then, it's a struggle to get cards in and out. They may improve this design with stronger sides, but until then, I think this is the best iPhone 5 wallet available.

So far, very happy
Even after reading most of the reviews, I was very unsure about buying this wallet/case. After having it for about a week, I can say that I am very glad I purchased it. I only need 4 cards and they fit perfectly inside the magnetic portion of the wallet. As some have mentioned, cash gets stuck in the outer pocket: I fixed the deep pocket issue by inserting an L shaped piece of cardboard into the outer pocket to prevent the cash from going too far in. So far this is working out great. (I made it L shaped so I could pull out the cardboard easily if needed).I guess the outer pocket is made for a card, but I like putting cash there better. Doesn't seem like it'll stretch out the pocket this way. Definitely recommend this wallet so far and I will update in a month regarding its durability.
