They sent me i7 4790s and over phone walked me thru downloading to both units latest Dell bios and Management Engine components Installer as well... 4790 came up with 4Ghz speed from 3.6G... and temp is stable at average 40Call seems good so ordered a 3rd Dell Optiplex 9020 from them, should be here next week per their tech support...Note: need to go into Bios with F2 and set enable performance to Boost on and multi speed on... and in Windows Power Options set to High Performance, at hi and low to100%... hope that may help someone else using i7 to get processors running at multiplier of 40.. Note the i7 4770 will boost to multiplier of 39, so is about 3.9G but temp is good 20C higher average, ie about 50-60c and hi temp limits speed down under loads... so using the 4790 I think is better choice.. runs and is stable under heavy loads highest temps I observed were in low 50C, I do heavy work with videos and need lowest cost per computer with at least 4G speeds, all 4 cores running, with 2 hyper threads each core... Will give update later if can do so, am 80 years old and still going strong, thankfully, and it is because of God's help I am sure..11/3/2020 updatehave ordered and received a 3rd unit... all are working well at 4Ghz in my applications... need to be aware of settup noted above to see and set up correctly to work well at 4Ghz, and redu the silicon to keep heat down if that is an issue... I first ordered the Dell 9020 from a vendor that was not very good. Not my choice. I just went to the main Amazon page and clicked on Add to My Cart. That computer started to crash frequently; at one point crashing every 10 minutes. I talked to the service department, and they suggested two fixes: download a new OS and test one RAM card at a time. Neither worked, so I returned the computer.I then ordered the Dell 9020 from Blair Technology. What a change! Better packaged, better instructions, cleaner, and the computer worked just fine. The DVD drive was not operational, but I called Blair and they sent another drive. No fuss. That drive is now working fine.If you are going to order re-furbished, I suggest that you look into the vendor carefully. Look at their return policy and guarantees. Look up the company on the internet. I should have done that with the first vendor. The price of the Blair version was about $10 more, but avoiding the many hours that I spent testing and re-testing the first computer is worth much more than $10.I am now a happy owner of a Dell 9020.

This review is here now. The seller shipped item fast, But UPS delayed shipment for weeks. Item came well packaged, used Heavy duty Bubble wrap and Plastic bag around computer. I open computer, looked clean like new. Got it going and it was fine. Next day could not get picture . What else called Grandson and we went though items all good. It was connection of Monitor now runs great a good buy and a good seller

A sticker on the front said Intel I5. Had me worried! Once powered up, it showed Intel I7 chip as stated in ad. 4 banks of Gb memory and a 500G SSD that has 440Gb of free space. Exactly as advertised! Beautifully cleaned and restored and came with a new KB and mouse!Small and quiet. And, as a nice throwback to a bygone era, came with a DVD RW drive. Perfect upgrade to replace my mom’s ancient POS!!!!

I’m so sorry having written this first 1 star review. After doing it I tried to follow the instruction sent by the seller. The confusing word was “acquire”. I thought it was about “buying” and I was wrong, it was about “getting”. With that in mind I followed the instructions and all worked and now the problem is solved. Sorry Blair Tech. Now I give you 5 stars.

Received the computer today and set it up. There were clear instructions in the box about Windows setup with product key. The specification are as advertised. There were no lose parts inside. The wifi adapter has a big antenna. I have wired connection, so did not test the wifi connection. The wifi adapter has the option to switch to Access Point Mode. I tried it briefly but was unable to get internet connection. My phone connected to the AP but it came back as "connected, no internet". However, this is a bonus feature that the wifi adapter happenes to have and the seller did not advertise this feature.I had a chance to play around for an hour or so and the computer worked flawlessly without any fan noise.Would highly recommend!

Ordered for 13 year old son for Christmas. Didn't work out of the box. No hard drive detected, won't boot up. JUNK. ZERO customer service. They don't answer phone, asked us to leave contact info and no return call every. Returned for a replacement. SECOND unit, does NOT work out of the box. Hard drive wasn't even connected inside the computer. We reconnected it, no hard drive detected, won't boot up. Tried tech support again, no answer, no return calls. Not sure who is refurbing these, but they need to find a new line of work. AVOID THIS COMPANY . . . my 13 year old has been waiting for weeks, so disappointing.

Easy installation, came with everything I needed. Came with instructions and has been great to far! No issues or complaints.Update, May 2023 Purchased November 2022.Got on today as usual and the Bluetooth drive is completely gone, installed and watched 5 hours worth of YouTube trying to fix issue with no success. Also 2 of the usb drives all of the sudden stopped working. I can get Bluetooth dongle and a usb extender with extra dongles, but this is a hassle considering everything worked until this last update.
