Easy to use and spot on to diagnose engine light problem
1. I had my engine check light come on, and2. We coincidentally were upgrading one of our sprint phones that "included" their sprint drive time odb module. They said it would read engine faults codes etc. So great, I'll use it on my 2005 Jeep Liberty to see what the engine check light meant that had just come on. The sprint module did not pick up the fault at all, and then I found out, it would started have charging us $9.99 a month 30 days later. Nope, that's not going to happen and took it back.3. In comes this Honeywell Guardinator (Model GS600L03 Ver. A) I followed the two minutes of reading the instructions of plugging in and scanning, and it picked up my engine fault right away as a engine coolant fault issue. It diagnosed that it could be a couple things, i.e., bad sensor or thermostat etc. It dawned on me that my heater wasn't heating up that fast or intermittently, as this was the beginning of fall cool/cold weather. I took it to the shop, and let them know the fault code and symptoms, and yes it turned out that it was a bad thermostat. They had to replace it and refill the coolant, as the thermostat is mounted low on Jeep Liberty's instead of hi on the block, otherwise I would have changed it. So I saved a $50 buck diagnose charge and the module has already saved me right out of the box!4. Three weeks later, the engine light came back on? I Checked on the phone/module app, and the same code came in? Which is pretty cool that you can see real time diagnostics and fault codes instead of one engine fault (idiot) light. I called the shop and took it back to them without any schedule delays as I told them it was the same fault code. They quickly found that the replacement thermostat was faulty, they replaced it "and the coolant again" promptly, "no charge".So yes, this little scanner has saved me a lot of time, money, hassle and now I have heat!

This little beauty save me over $1,000!
It came to my door a half an hour before I left to go check it a car, THANK GOD!!!!!!! The car was beautiful (blue 2002 Mustang) on the outside. When I put this OBD2 on it, it brought up 8 codes. Im still not used to it since I just got it so I couldn't read the codes but I might've bought the car without this beautiful little tool. I ended up getting a red 2000 Mustang with no codes coming up, but where it said intake there was a yellow mark. Which basically means even though no codes are coming up, there might be something starting in the intake system somewhere. I love this thing, I say it enough. It probably saved me around $1000, maybe more. Here's a couple pictures of my new car with no codes (grinning from ear to ear). Have a good day everybody.

Good scanner for basic functionality!
I have used this tool to check my check engine light, it works perfectly fine. The app Guardinator is easy to use. It can evaluate your engine performance, coolant temp, throttle opening and charging system.I can also check all the measure that my car has sensor for. However, it takes longer that I expected. I also don’t think it is useful information. To clear the code, I need to turn off my car to clear the code. The engine performance evaluation is little confusing, everything shows in Chinese that I have no ideas what it shows.I used this tool to clear P0303 code that indicate misfire on cylinder 3.It is good to have it in your car, however, this tool can’t replace professional scanner tool.

Tethered to one phone
This is fairly easy to use and saves some worry when a random "check engine" light comes on.The only reason I dropped one star is that the device can be registered to only one phone. If you ever upgrade or replace your phone, Honeywell's manual clearly states that you have to purchase another license or buy another OBD2 scanner.Although not a major problem, some of Honeywell's app text was not translated from Chinese to English. The app works well enough and is fairly simple to navigate, plus I didn't have to figure out which 3rd party app to use with the device.

Good
I’ve tried several others and this was the first without connectivity problems. Honeywell is the first with its own app. No extra charge and the app is quite detailed. The dashboard doesn’t have the temperature, but it is available in the system. I can’t report on its ability to clear codes, my Prius was fixed prior to trying this unit, but there is an icon to clear codes. This being my third try (different products) with these OBD dongles, I would rate it very good. It appears to have the ability to add a HUD, at additional cost. As a tech junkie, I will likely purchase the HUD transmitter. Overall, this is a quality, stable bang for the buck.

Good Value but PITA to setup and use
This review is for iPhone X with iOS 13.6The first thing you'll discover is the manual is a POS, inaccurate and a poor translation, its principal use is to generate frustration. After you stumble through the activation you'll be treated to the app's interface written by Klutzmeister, the kompany that put the K in kwality. After getting through that you will find that, YES it can read and reset codes.Put that in perspective. Assuming you have a smartphone this little guy costs 1/2 what a dealership would charge for a single read. I have been enjoying free reads at an auto parts store but they are not allowed to reset the codes.Hopefully the interface will become easier with practice - it could use some work.

Works well with Dr. Prius app, nice LED light build in
Works with the Dr. Prius app, which was my main concern/need. The supplied app is so-so, but that’s the case with most of these. I do really like the build in LED light that helps find the OBD2 port at night. Great value for the $$.

Be careful about licensing
This product works, but if you read the manual it says that the OBD device can only be paired to one phone only. According to the printed manual it is not possible to pair it to a 2nd phone - due to licensing constraints. However this info was not duplicated in the guardinator app, so I considered the information to be somewhat dubious.Fast forward 1 month and I got myself a new iphone. I transferred all apps and settings from the old iphone to new, using the apple bluetooth method. The product works with the new phone! No new setup required. So there appears to be no problem with it being tied to one device only! The manual is written in poor english, and the same goes for the guardinator app. Some of the app is written in chinese (things like the help pages), and it seems like things like licensing have been lost in translation. If it was the case that the device could only ever be paired to one phone, then I'd give it a one star rating. Such licensing terms and practices are unclear at the point of purchase and unfair - therefore likely to be illegal. If you look past the quality issues with the app, it does what you paid it to do - get fault codes and other engine diagnostics. However Honeywell's brand name is not served well by this thing.

Works well, good interface - dubious app and unsure if really Honeywell
First impressions and actual usage all goodIt’s simple to pair to phone (mine is latest iPhone 11) and the device runs all the usual scans with a couple of clicks.Quite a good level of detail and what sensors can be connected to and read using live data.Clears and reads codes well.My one negative is whether it’s a truly Honeywell device. Maybe it’s just the software provider but the English language and spelling throughout the app is awful. Has the car been ‘ignited’, ‘quick diagnose’ and ‘tyre welness’ - it doesn’t detract from being a good, easy to use wireless OBD reader but whether it’s truly a Honeywell made product I don’t know. For £22 it’s a bargain and works well - just don’t expect well worded, correct grammar and plain English how to guides!

Doesn’t work
Garbage, it simply doesn’t work. Cannot get it to pair with either apple or android phones I have tried. Will be returning for refund.

Important to read Chinese
Great item, but a lot in Chinese on the app
