This black garlic is delicious! I have ordered it twice so far and will continue to ask my husband for it for special occasions (mother's day, anniversary, birthday). It is tender, sweet, and just a slight garlic like taste. I mostly just eat it out of the container. I have not made a recipe with it. My 4 year old and husband also love it. It is nice to know how much you actually get since it comes peeled. My package arrived way before the date it was due to arrive. I appreciate that organic garlic was used and they explain a bit of the process in a pamphlet that they included with the garlic. I have tried one other brand of black garlic (Melissa's I think) and I didn't like it. It was dry and not as sweet. This garlic is AMAZING and delicious. I know I am getting the real thing. :)

They are gummier than Trader Joe's black garlic, and I prefer the softer garlic, but Trader Joe's black garlic does not exist any more. Anyway, the gumminess makes them keep longer unpeeled. It is supposed to stay fresh for a year without refrigeration and two years when refrigerated. So far, so good. Not having to peel it makes sweet, yummy black garlic available for a quick addition to anything: omelettes, toast, sandwiches, pasta, salads, and everything else. A pound of garlic lasts a long time. If you love black garlic, you may find yourself eating it every day. I cut the garlic into tiny pieces with poultry shears. If it soaks a while in liquid in the dish in which it is used, the garlic absorbs liquid and gets bigger, softer, and more fragrant.

I was really bummed when Trader Joe's stopped carrying black garlic... So I went onto my trusty Amazon website and found this supplier!!! I really like that the garlic cloves are already peeled (a lot neater to use) and that its organic and made in America (a big bonus!!!) The quality was fantastic and I will definitely continue to buy my black garlic from this seller/manufacturer.

i've been eating this every day for a couple of months....even took a small jar with me on a driving trip. Delicious and nutritious . Black garlic is expensive, which makes me want to make my own; but for now, i will enjoy this. i first tried black garlic from Trader Joes and was very impressed. i actually think that brand tasted better and had a better texture, however, TJ's has stopped carrying it where i shop. Glad to find it online.

It's hard to believe this is garlic! I love it just by itself as a sweet treat and it also goes great in salads, salad dressings, and most anything else you want a savory, sweet taste. Balsamic and slight caramel or raisin notes.Edit: I've finished the entire container. The BEST black garlic ever! I'm just so sad that it's out of stock and I can't order it again.

Fabulous smoky flavored garlic! It is so smooth tasting, not sharp like some garlic can be. I can't wait to use it in a marinade. I made a delicious dip with cream cheese and horseradish. Found some good recipes online. The best part is I received the shipment quickly (I needed it for a party) and packaging was secure and easy to open. I will definitely order from this company again!

This black garlic was delicious. Just the right amount of chewiness and texture. Good mellow sweet flavor. They were not too moist or too dry, just right. You get a huge amount. Although I think it's fun to peel the garlic so I wish it would come in the bulb as well.
