kinda hard to close
I love the colors they are sturdy and hold up well but trying to get the rings fully closes is a pain. I dont know if I just havent learned the trick to it or what but I just cant get the ends to meet flush.

Just OK. A fair value but a few gotchas.
It is just OK.First, note that the wire guage is given in the British SWG system. 18 SWG (0.048 inches diameter) is almost 16 AWG (0.051 inches). With a 1/4 inch inside diameter the AR (aspect ratio) is 5.2. I think a company that calls itself "American Chain Mail" may as well use the American AWG wire gauge sizes.Second, the rings do have a lot of burrs. Nothing horrible, but you will have to knock them off. Conversely I've had very, very few duds. The wires are cleanly cut.Finally, the black rings don't appear to be anodized at all. I think they are enameled and poorly colored. Some of the rings are shiny and some are mat finished. Both types will turn your fingers black, but I haven't seen any rub onto the skin from just wearing the jewelry.All in all I think this assortment was a fair value but I'm hesitant to buy any more from this vendor. There are a few significant vendors of jump rings and findings out there in internet land that seem more solid. This review is being written in October 2017 so maybe take another look at American Chain Mail in several months to see if they've tightened up their product quality.

Love these jump rings!
I have bought numerous kits from this seller and the rings are fabulous. I will admit that I was a little ticked at times due to the shipping, but that was not the sellers fault. Overall, the quality is awesome and the rings truly are beautiful colors. I will say that I don't particularly like the brown rings because I can't quite figure out what to do with them. It would be nice to have some different colors in the box that are on the sellers website, such as the violet color or the dark blue. But overall, very satisfied with the purchase. I have even gone onto the sellers website and ordered from there. Two thumbs up from me!

Low quality and thin
I think these are AWG rather than SWG and the quality of ring seems poor. I have yet to find much that I can do with these rings. I think you would be better off going and picking a couple of colors and buying the small batches. A big disappointment after buying their bright aluminum starter pack and being pleased.

Very nice.
great colors. Handle well. A little tough to close all the way so that wire or thread don't slide through the gap.

Just Okay
I was excited to get these, but when I received them, I was disappointed. They are all partially opened which means that you have to separate them, close some of them and open them wider. They are not cut well and do not make a clean closing ring. They are painted, but the paint did not easily come off with the tools. For the money, I expected a little better quality. They aren't bad, but I would not buy them again.
