Silicone Oil Removal - it works with help
You may have also found this product as a suggested way to remove silicone oil stains. My situation was silicone oil on car upholstery. From my initial tests, Soillove did slightly lighten the silicone stain but not remove it, but used in combination with naphtha (Ronsonol), it could remove the stain totally. Here are the details: A bottle of viscus Moroccan Argan Hair Oil spilled in the car years ago. I have tried over and over to remove this silicone based product from the seats with little luck. Over time it picked up dirt it became a grey blotch on the camel colored seats. After several expensive detail jobs over the years, the coaster-sized stain was still there. The pros couldn't pull it. Silicone oil really is a funny substance. Soaps typically will not cut it along with many commercial detergents. I tried many things before this product on this spot, and nothing seemed to work. Water-based grease remover, nope! Laundry spotter, nope! All different types of soap, nope! Auto interior spotter, nope! Carpet spotter, nope! Solvent-based Goof-OFF, nope! Straight acetone, nope! Painters mineral spirits, nope! The spot stayed there. Then I came upon this product. I read about its ability to remove silicone oil from several blogs. After throwing many other products of similar type at it with no success, I was naturally skeptical. I tried straight Soillove followed by a washout using hot water in a Bissell carpet cleaner with an upholstery nozzle. It did lighten it, better than most of the other things I tried, but it was still there. The product did not claim to remove silicone, so props that it did better than most other things I tried previously that did little to nothing. In graduate school, I used silicone derivatives for all sorts of processes in medical device design. One trick I remembered was cutting thick silicone oil with naphtha, xylene, or toluene (conjugated benzene ring based solvents). I decided to give it a go in a two-part process to have the naphtha loosen the stain and then use the Soilove to remove it along with the residual naphtha. I chose a naphtha blend (straight Ronsonol lighter fluid in the yellow bottle) because it was easy to apply, low cost, and in comparison to other solvents, it is less volatile (important in a confined space). Here is what I did: 1) Soak the stain in naphtha and blot with mild rubbing to saturate the top layer. 2) add naphtha down and use compressed air from a nozzle to drive it in and out of the fiber to a rag near the nozzle while trying not to drive it into the foam underneath as much as possible - move it laterally into the fiber and out of it with the air. This process is repeated multiple times with care not to saturate the padding with fluid. At this point, the spot was lighter with a nasty ring around the treated area. The area was not wet, but still somewhat damp with residual naphtha. 3) Apply Soillove at 50 percent strength (cut with very hot water) from a Bissell carpet cleaner with an upholstery nozzle. Spray on and suck off, and Repeat until the spot is gone. Clean the surrounding areas to make sure no hard lines existed with treated areas. 4) Load the Bissell carpet cleaner with hot water and rinse and vacuum dry the treated and immediately surrounding areas. This stuff has a high salt content, it may leave powdery crystals when dried - besides the instructions indicate it is typically rinsed unlike many products for upholstery or carpet. The soillove seemed to easily pick up the naptha and residual silicone oil. No spot remains now, the seat looks great! Hopefully this experience helps add some context to the debate on if this product can be used to remove silicone stains. .

Wonderful pretreated.
This is one of the most useful laundry aids, and probably the least expensive. Pretreat stains, preferably a good few hours before washing, and most vanish. I’ve found it more effective than most sprays. Another thing, it’s getting hard to find in supermarkets, so I’m very happy to have this little stockpile! The four bottles arrived in good shape with no leakage.

good stain remover on clothes
I am one of those who loves to remove stains from my clothes rather than just throw away. It does a good job but not perfect. I have an array for different products and chose according to stain.

Great stain remover! Wort the money
Have used this for years! It’s great, when I first bought it was .89$! Now no one in our area carries it thank goodness Amazon does 😊. It works on blood, grass stains and coffee. Only problem was the package when it arrived by USPS.

Stain Buster!
I don't know is in this product, but it's MAGIC! I used to purchase at dollar stores and was delighted to find it here. It works best on fresh stains, but also helps those that are set. Love it.
