Mega Magz, 130-Piece Magnetic Construction Set - 66 bars and 64 balls

This is one of the most creative greatest gift you can give kids! My mother-in-law (now in Heaven) purchased these years ago for my boys and I now purchased them for her other grandchildren (my nephews and niece). They loved them and my boys helped them create things that their Dad (my boys uncle) helped them make when they received theirs years ago. Our family tradition to have these around. So, much better than them hooked on computer games.

I have 3 boys, 5, 4, and 2 yrs old. All enjoy constructing with this set, but my 4 year old spends the most time (up to 30 minutes in the morning).The bars are 2 and 3/8" long, the balls are 1/2" diameter. (the bars are probably exactly 6cm long)66 bars (3 plastic packages with 22 bars each) and 64 balls (4 packages of 16 balls each). The packaging is minimal -- they come in two, plain white cardboard boxes with little wasted space.

I purchased Mega Magz for my 8 - year old son and he loves to build different structures with the bars and the steel balls. In fact, he loves it so much that I bought a second set. Building with Mega Magz seems to be his favorite time, a great time for imaginative play and quiet time (for parents as well).I recommend this product and give it a 5 stars. Literally, my son spends hours creating different shapes and "building" structures.Awesome and fun educational toy!

I bought this set for my 4 year old granddaughter for Christmas. Then last night I saw a report on T.V. that these type magnetic marble toys have been banned in the United States because of children swallowing them, then their intestines or insides will stick together. On little girl almost died and had to have surgery to remove them . Why are you still selling them in the United States. I have thrown them away and not let any child play with them. They SHOULD NOT be on your web site.

I bought this to use for classroom demonstrations in math and science. I found myself playing with the set as soon as I got it. One star is subtracted for poor packaging. The set was in an oversized box and when I opened it, I found that a lot of the steel balls were in there loose. It is also an obvious repackage, as the number of pieces as listed on the box has been crossed out in marker. Nonetheless, nothing was missing, and I will probably end up getting at least one more set, if not the Super Magz set that is advertised for $95.00.

My kids love these! Hours of creative play. The box that they come in is great for keeping them stored in their own space. Will must likely order more!

My kids played with Mega Magz when they were young. Now they're grown and I have grandchildren that play with the same old set. One of them was creating up a storm a couple of weeks ago but ran out of pieces, so I decided to try and find another set. I assumed that I'd have to find it used... but here it is, bright and new, the same fine quality as our old set. The stems are longer, but that only adds to the fun. What a treat to find a high quality toy that has not lost its identity!

I bought this magnificent Mega Magz for two of my granddaughters.They both took to it with delight, but even more so their mother who reported to me a week later:" Thank you for the magnets it kept them busy for 2 solid hours!"And this was the thank you I received from the three year old : 👶👳👲❤️💚💜💙💛💎💍💭🔮🎥📷🎁📹💝🎍🎐👗.The only improvement would be if it came in a case that can be used to store the parts when not in use.
