Great... When it works
This HUD is a great intro display for people who are either on a budget, or have never used a HUD before. It has a number of options, but the only one that really has any meaning, at least to me, is the MPH/KPH display.Let's start with the good -It's compact and is very well lit with LEDs so you can see the display on the plastic screen even in mid afternoon on bright days. It's not terribly intrusive with respect to lighting at night, however some might find it a tad too bright. (The brightness setting can be adjusted) The main feature I suspect most are after is the MPH/KPH display which, when calibrated properly, can more or less replace your speedometer. I like this as it means my peripheral vision is more easily focused on the road. I spend less time looking down at the dash, and more on the road. This may sound somewhat funny until you realize that even looking down at your dash for half a second at highway speeds means you've covered a significant amount of distance. It's nice to keep your eyes closer to the road.It has a number of interesting, albeit largely unnecessary features, that most drivers would never need access to but might be nice to have in odd situations. Better to have something and not need it, than need it and not have it.The bad -Right out of the box you need to put down some sticky material to ensure it stays put. This, in it of itself, isn't that much of an issue, however; if your dash is in any way rounded, you're not going to be able to put this thing where you ideally want it to be. We're well into the 21st century. Design flaws like this should not be a problem. Further, the plug that you use to interface with the car is unusually large. This means that you may have to remove the protective plating over the OBD interface in order to plug it in. Once again, this is entirely unnecessary this day in age. Check how much space you have near your OBD interface. If you have less than 4-5 inches of space between the plug and the plate, it won't fit.As with many other HUDs made by this company, the menu interface is quite counter-intuitive and sometimes downright baffling, even with the manual. The manual does a good job of explaining things, but given the number of different sub menus and options, if you lose it, you'll want to pull your hair out trying to solve simple problems. There are a number of times where if you don't set the proper voltage input correctly the HUD will auto reset after a few minutes. Here again the manual has suggestions for this, but in my vehicle at least, this is still an occasional problem. Further, there will be times when you start your vehicle that the device will not turn on, or when it does will not display information like speed correctly (ie displaying speed at 0 while you're driving on the highway). The above are my biggest gripes. When this product works, I quite like it and find it very useful, but I wish it was more reliable. There have been times I've considered simply removing it because it refuses to work for 20+ minutes while driving, but it normally sorts itself out after a while.Your experience may vary with this HUD. I will be keeping it until I can afford a better one and/or the technology matures a little more. Great when it works, obnoxious when it doesn't. You have been warned.

Reflection
Did not like the refection for oncoming cars, with this unit. A little large also.

Great product.
Amazing item for a car. I bought these for my whole family. They all love it. Easy to set up and very good lighting. I am clearly able to see it even in the sun.
