very tight fit
purchased for 93 festiva and it did fit, but with a bit of trouble - very tight fit. It was the only part that I could find available anywhere, so I'm not really complaining. The price was very reasonable and it did the job well. I would much rather have a tight fit than a loose one. The clamps are zip-ties, so even more important that the fit be tight. Putting it on was a challenge. Very small space to work in, and some strength needed to get the boot over the rack, so not very fun, or quick. But still less time and money than replacing the whole rack, so worth the effort.

stretchy boot, no alignment required
*** This boot is the kind that you can stretch over the tie rod end without having to remove anything that might mess up your alignment. ***The package includes a small cone that you put over the screw on the tie rod end, but I also put an oiled up gallon sized plastic bag under the cone. Oil the inside of the boot and start yanking it over the cone...you don't have to be super gentle, just don't poke it with something sharp. When it got to the point where the smallest end of the boot had to pull over the tie rod end, I just put my thumb in and stretched down on it while pulling it from the larger end. It popped right over with no damage to the boot or the boot on my tie rod end, but it did take some effort.(check youtube for videos on how to change a rack boot without an alignment...)Pro tip: (okay, I'm definitely no pro, but I learned something) It took me forever to get the larger end of the boot to stretch over the metal place on the rack where you're supposed to clamp it down. I've heard this may be an issue specific to these Subarus, but either way, I found that since the boot is so flexible, just turn the big end inside out a bit. Then push it up to where it's supposed to go and flip the end right side out over that metal piece. Clamp it down and you're all set. Hope that helps someone. This boot fit well on my 02 Subaru Outback, but I imagine it will fit most vehicles just fine. I had to cut the larger end of mine a bit to make it fit properly.

Boot Only NOT a KIT
First I received this item a day later than promised. I needed it for re-inspection, so I needed it asap. The only thing in the package was the boot itself. But on the back of the package it list contents: 1-rack & pinion boot, 1- clamp set, 1- installation clamp set. Per another review they said it did come with clamps. Amazon sent me a replacement. Again it arrived a day late and again the only thing in it is the boot. This should not be called a boot "KIT"

Datsun 240z rack & pinion bellows boot
If you're looking for a boot for a 240z, this is the perfect one. Had to trim just a little on the big end to make it fit. I had to measure the rack & pinion and tie rod and do my research online and this was the only one that came close. I read the reviews for some of the other brands that said it would fit but the customers were disappointed to find out it didn't. But for those of you who own a 240z or maybe 260z/280z, this bellows boot i highly recommend.

Does not last!
It worked great for Toyota Tacoma, but did not last a year. The rubber was deteriorating and ripping had to replace again.

Boot
With some modifications I used this as a boot to cover the lift cylinder rod on my Meyers snow plow. If you own a Meyers lift you will know why I did it. Seems to have solved the water issue.
