Best innovation in Hot Wheels for years!
Bringing Hot Wheels into the 21st century these are great little cars with an accompanying app that allows the kids (big and small) to indulge in their collection at any time. Now if only they were a little cheaper they would be perfect!

Dirty box
I bought this for my sons birthday but couldn’t give it to him because the box is so dirty and horrible.

Great police vehicle
There is a surprising lack of ‘police cars’ in the standard mainline HotWheels so it’s nice to be able to grab one. The ID functionality works well, would suggest it’s a tad on the light side but generally rolls well. Nice little car!

It didn’t work
The Hot wheel ID Car was a Police Dodge That is supposed to light up and have a siren. These functions didn’t work so it was just a basic car. My son has autism and is a bit obsessed with collecting these cars. So I’m not exaggerating when I say he had a full on meltdown and cried for about two hours. From my point of view it was rather expensive as it didn’t work and clearly a bad shopping experience.

These Hot Wheels ID vehicles are the next wave in collecting! Not only does this Jeep DJ-Xpress look great but it has an embedded NFC chip which gives the car its own unique sort of ‘fingerprint.’ You can just use the car as a regular addition to your collection AND you can also download an app which then opens up a whole new digital world to race and do other things with your vehicle! You can collect and share data such as race stats, etc. with other members. I’ve been a fan of Hot Wheels since the company began in 1968 and this is another great idea from Mattel. The seller, Standard of Entertainment, expedited my order quickly and I’d do repeat business with them again.

I bought this as a collectors item for my nephew. It was well packaged and he did not open it. It was not bad for the price.
