Great find
My daughter needed a more powerful battery operated fan to take to music camp this year. The one she brought last year (on the right in the photo) was functional, but she said the air flow was not adequate. I scoured Amazon to find something better. It seems all that's being sold these days are powered solely with rechargeable batteries with usb cables. This is not something she could bring to camp. I was going to give up when I saw this Opolar fan.Pros:It can use 4 D batteries or the included usb cable. It has 3 blades that measures ~ 4.5 in across (the other one has 2 blades at ~ 3.5 in) for more air movement. It has 3 speeds. At the highest speed the air flow is much stronger than the one with the light. It has a timer to save on battery life. The only con for now is that with the batteries the fan is a bit heavy. Hopefully this fan will be durable and give her some relief in the hot and humid cabins.

Decent for the price. Pushes a surprising amount of air.
It is exactly as the product name implies, it's a desk fan with strong airflow but it is not without its flaws.Pros:1. It pushes a surprising amount of air.2. Light without the D-Cell batteries. Note: I did not have D-Cell batteries to test the fan with but I am certain they will add a decent amount of weight to the product taking into consideration the size of the batteries.3. The tilt provides a good amount of adjustment for almost every need.4. Can be powered via 5V USB. This means it will work using any phone charger.Cons:1. It is quite loud at the highest fan speed; although this is to be expected of a small desk fan that pushes this much air. It produces a "nice" humming sound as far as fan noise is concerned.2. The body of the fan is far too large for what it is. This thing takes up way more space than at first glance.3. It uses a proprietary cable for power.Overall, its a decent fan for the price.I was sent this unit for testing.

"Nice Fan, Heavy If You Use Batteries"
Overall, my review is more like 4.5 stars for a few reasons. The fan is nice sized and light as a feather, but if you place 4 D cells in it, the weight increases by 19 oz. It runs off an adapter with USB port but the plug into the fan body is not the usual Android charger most people have with their phones, not really a big deal unless you lose the cable. It has a strong air flow and the noise is great on the 2 lower settings and a bit loud on high. You can pivot the fan 180 degrees and it's stable on its stand in any angle. The nicest thing about this fan is it's not too large but has a good wind force.

Great little fan that moves a good amount of air without making lots of noise
EDIT: Just a quick update. It's April 2021 and I'm still loving this fan (about to order another). This is a nice fan that moves enough air to keep me cool on the low or medium setting, and doesn't make a ton of noise. It's not silent though, making a low hum with a slight whoosh of air. When bumped up to high it definitely gets louder, but it's still not obnoxiously loud. It's designed for 4xD cell batteries, but I have tons of AA size Eneloops, so I used some 3AA to D adapters to put 12 AA NiMH rechargeable batteries in it, and they keep it running a really long time (overnight when I'm sleeping with plenty of run time left). Would probably go even longer on actual D cells, but it runs longer than I need it to with the 3AA-D adapters. If you're looking for a portable fan you can take anywhere, this one should be on your short list.

Carry a breeze with you!
This fan is fabulous! I live in an area where we use a tornado shelter. I ordered this fan to take with me while locked in the shelter. It had a nice weight (doesn’t fall over) and gives off a very nice breeze. On nice days, I take it with me to sit on the patio! I’m hooked and will use this fan quite often!

First glance, seems ok
Bought this for power failures in storm season. It's very light weight but seems sturdy, tried it only with USB power which isn't for stores, but didn't want to open the pack of D batteries to try it. The weight will naturally increase with weight of the batteries. I don't know how long batteries will last if running on high speed, my guess is not more then 20 hrs, but not meant for that in my case. Low speed is almost neglible breeze, but the 3 or high speed puts out a nice blast of moving air. And fairly quiet for a small fan. I would only use it as a relief measure in short burts, an hour or so at a time. I've been in major post hurricane power failures and have learned, for me, what amount of heat and humidity I can bear. This would help a lot but hope I don't have to use it! It's small enough to store easily on a shelf.

Very cool and love battery availability
It's not silent but it's pretty quiet. The fan is a great travel size as well and can lay flat. This was used for a dorm room for our son while playing baseball and he liked it a lot. Also great to use with batteries if no plug is around

Good little fan
Size is on point and one of the bigger battery powered fans you can find on the market. The noise is minimal however a lot of people use fans for white noise. Good balance. You need to get rechargeable batteries otherwise you will waste a lot of money on buying them. A set of 4 D cell batteries will last you roughly a night and a half on high. However you can get 3 nights out of it on low. Low speed is not strong but helps circulate the area. I use mine camping/glamping and it held up well and kept me comfortable enough to sleep. It is plastic and the cover over the fan blades is kinda cheap. It is portable however not light enough to justify taking back bush camping. The fan tilting is a nice feature. The little blue light on the front is annoying and a waste of battery... obviously you can tell if the fan is on or not without the need for this light... I also like a dark room so I covered the light with electrical tape.

Nice size
I needed a fan for my office because it gets so warm and the other ladies don't like to be cold. I find this is a great size. It's bigger than most portable fans and you can plug it in with the cable provided or if you want to not buy 4 D batteries you can use a regular USB cable as there is a spot to plug it in and then plug into the wall. non of that comes with this except the short cable to plug into your computer USB. I work with too much paper to have the fan that close and I do plan to use this fan while in hotels or need extra air rotation without having to worry about finding space.

Smaller than the photos
Make sure you check the measurements and see if it's what you want. I mistakenly just based it off the photos and it is significantly smaller than the photos. However, it is surprisingly strong and works great. I would definitely get it again.
