Yummy rice noodles
I have a wheat intolerance so rice is one of my main carbs. But I can't have rice every night or I'll get totally bored with it. I've been buying these for years. I do love them. My husband is not fond of them. But if you can have pasta, who would make the substitution. They aren't the softest noodle. I use my kitchen scissors to cut them while they have cooked for a while because they are LONG. You have to break them apart before you want to cook them. They are stuck together. I usually put the whole bundle in a gallon Ziploc and separate them in the bag or they will be all over my counter and floor. I put sauce on them while my family has pasta. I sauté garlic and parsley in olive oil in a pan and add the cooked noodles and then add parmesan cheese. It's soooooo good. I've made homemade meifun with chicken and it was pretty awesome.

Tasty at a great price
I'm a bit of a recipe junkie and the problem with reading cooking blogs is I stumble upon all types of recipes that call for ingredients I've never used! Enter the Lo Mein noodle. I wanted to try some spicy Asian noodles, and Amazon came to my rescue with great prices on the Lo Mein noodles (and the Sriracha sauce!) My local store wanted $4.50 for one package and by buying in bulk I cut that cost by more than half per unit. The noodles have a great texture and taste. Some people sub fettucine noodles for Lo-Mein but I think these have a different taste/texture - they are chewy and denser/thicker than standard Italian noodles, and taste fresher to me. Two thumbs up!

Pretty darn good
They are pretty good. Hard to get Asian food here in the very rural Mid-West. A local grocery store originally carried them. Why I don't know why around here they carried them. My wife thought they were pretty good. Even better than the variety at the Asian store in the big city we use to drive for an hour to get to. So local grocery store stopped carrying these. We found them on Amazon. And now we just go to Amazon and buy them. My wife makes Filipino Pancit with them. Note. These are the skinny noodle Bihon style for Pancit. And even I agree, best pancit noodle we found, so we sticking with them. Note: I found they pretty delicious for American Spaghetti, of course the noodle is much skinnier than a traditional spaghetti noodle.

Not Thick Enough - And Too Short
They're not thick enough for their width, and they're way too short. Their length makes it seem as though someone intended them to be cooked in a very small stock pot (in Taiwan, where they're made, perhaps?).If you don't add them to the cooking water one-by-one, they stick together. Two or three of them that are stuck together make for a bit of a surprise if they find their way into your mouth without you noticing. Crunch!

Good noodle for the price
Pretty good quality noodles for the price. We'd been buying another brand at the grocery store for way more and decided to try the Ka-Me noodles. They taste just as good and it's nice to have a full stock of noodles whenever I want to cook a stir fry. They are super fast and easy to prepare.

Taste good - stick together easily
These noodles are fine - but just fine. They do taste good, as expected. But they are hard to cook as they need a lot of water and attention otherwise they will stick together. The noodles are bit wider and fatter than what I consider Lo Mein. Further they seem to soak up water faster too - a bit like Ramen noodles would.Overall I was not too happy with these, I definitely had better ones in the past. I will not buy them again. That said, there is really nothing wrong with how they taste. If you like Lo Mein, nothing wrong with giving these a try.

First Time Won't Be the Last!
My hubby decided to try cooking a simple Chinese dish for the first time & wanted to make pork lo mein. We looked every where in our small Southern town for lo mein noodles, to no avail. Amazon to the rescue! Tasty noodles, easy to cook & now I have at my disposal, a budding Chinese chef! Oh, and by the way, the dish he made was outstanding!
