RS-17.2 Side Entry Vest Jet Ski Life Jacket PWC Jetski Watercraft (Yellow, S/M)

I purchased this life jacket as a replacement for an older neoprene jacket that I’ve had for years. Occasionally they’ve got to be replaced. In this case, not only was the other one old, but I had simply outgrown it. This new jacket fits much, MUCH better. I purchased this for use when running at high speeds on my jet ski, as well as having a second jacket for a passenger. I like the rescue handles on it. But it’s NOT a life jacket I’d want to be using when running off shore in the ocean. For that, I purchased another fully Coast Guard approved and rescue certified jacket designed for dealing with rougher environments while offering more lift. But...I certainly wouldn’t want to be wearing that jacket for doing high speed runs, as it’s far more bulky and can dig into the water if I fall off at high speeds. While this jacket will simply slide across the surface, that jacket would dig in, tossing me like a rag doll. As such, I wear the appropriate jacket for what I’m doing. I highly recommend this jacket. Not only does it fit perfectly, it’s also very comfortable. But it can’t carry all the safety equipment I typically take with me for ocean rides. Nor was it ever meant to.Hopefully this order issue was resolved. For some reason my order indicated that I ordered 3 jackets when I only wanted 1. So far, only 1 has arrived. Hopefully it’s the only 1, as I certainly have no use for 3.

I've owned Mobey's vests, a Jet Pilot Impactor 3, and for comfort, this vest takes the cake. While the JP vest, which is an old vest, had extra padding upfront, the Jet Tribe has a hardened rubber chest / belly protector, and for a stand up skier, this works great for a zero padding handpole. Great vest, especially for stand up skiers/racers.

I bought this for my boyfriend because he loves to go fast on the water on the hetski & I wanted to make sure he had added protection .He likes it.
