COIL consists of two odd-shaped metal pieces which resemble a rectangular shape with a hole through the center when together. The two pieces must be totally separated and then reassembled to solve the puzzle. COIL is small, pocket-size brain teaser. Assembled the puzzle measures 1.25 x 1.25 x 1 inch Rated by manufacturer as a level 3 difficulty on a scale of 1 to 6 (where 1 is least challenging and 6 most challenging). Rating are subjective. Your experience may differ. Comes apart and reassembles with positioning and clever movements. NO FORCE every required. Recommended for ages 12 to 105 years. A few very bright 7 to 11 year olds may enjoy provided they know NOT to ever force puzzle pieces. Makes a great coffee table or desk conversation piece.
