True Utility FireStash - The Smallest Waterproof Lighter Keychain

I’ve had a couple of these for years as a long walker going off hiking sometimes without plan & having one of these amongst your keys & keyrings is incredibly handy for small Controlled fire starting & for smoking but I quit smoking over two years ago now & that just shows that I’ve been using these lighters amongst other forms of fire starting whilst camping or whilst just on an unplanned stay in the wilderness for many years, & they’re incredibly reliable lighters, just wonder off, anywhere, away from modern times , transponders, transformers & masses of concrete. They are waterproof, that O-Ring works brilliantly just don’t over tighten the adjoining parts as well one the likelihood of it being waterproof is diminished & two try opening the very small lighter with cold hands or with gloves on! Sometimes it’s just incredibly hard to open even if it’s only been rightly tightened at the best of times! Use your lighter fluid when it’s new slowly allowing the fluid to soak into the inner compact fluff & when you see a small buildup of fluid like a tiny puddle on the area where you put the lighter fluid it’s full! (TOMS TOP TIP: Drop a spare flint or two into that puddle/inner area of the lighter for future use & put the base/cover on quickly whilst it’s still upside down, when you turn it upright that or those flints are handily & securely stored you just use a small key to unscrew the flint insert or you can buy a compact little screwdriver keyring for pennies). It’s small & lightweight & when it’s filled with fluid & it’s closed correctly you’ll have a light for years to come even without use, they’re a tad expensive but you’re getting top quality materials & build & brand! A very handy little keyring, very handy indeed!

So far a nice item, taking the cover off the fill the lighter is a ball ache, but it holds a flame and does not leak.

does exactly what is says small compact and waterproof worked first time i used it (testing for my sons DofE expedition) you will just need a small tin of lighter petrol for longer hiking trips but this is perfect for lighting the gas stove and anything else you need to light

This little thing is not to be underestimated, despite its size it's a fully functional lighter. I've used it frequently for around 2 months now, and nothing has gone wrong yet. It's absolutely tiny, so sometimes I need to use 2 hands to light it but usually I can just light it with ease, with one hand. It's fuel efficient, because of its waterproof design the fuel inside does not evaporate, therefore the lighter can contain fuel for several months without it magically evaporating like a Zippo.

El True Utility FireStash me ha sorprendido muy positivamente. Es increíblemente pequeño, lo que lo hace perfecto para llevarlo en un EDC sin que ocupe espacio ni estorbe. Aun con su tamaño tan compacto, resulta totalmente funcional. Es muy fácil de recargar, y una vez que la mecha está bien empapada, el mechero enciende a la primera sin esfuerzo. Además, el cierre es hermético, lo que evita que entre agua y mantiene el combustible en buen estado incluso si lo llevas en el llavero o expuesto a la intemperie. En resumen, un mechero de gasolina compacto, fiable y muy práctico para cualquier kit EDC. Ideal si buscas algo pequeño pero efectivo.
