Brause Arrow #66 Calligraphy Nibs, Extra Fine, Pack of 3

This is a lovely nib!Creates very delicate strokes or bigger ones if needed. It is very flexible and writes beautifully. It's easy on the wrist and does not require a lot of strength.I am very, very happy with the quality!

Brause nibs are quality. Very flexible without the scratch. Great package deal as specialty Pen/Nib websites charge per nibs which is customary. Being able to save a bit of $$ is always good, in my book. If I had to say something "I don't like about this product " : sure wish these nibs were available in a bit bigger, as some of us would like to Copperplate/Spencirian script a bit larger. These are small small nibs. I would recommend a bent nib holder for these. Enjoy.

Daughter wanted to try addressing all of her graduation announcements. After a little guidance from the internet we chose this nib. It worked great. Made nice sharp lines without the scratching of some nibs.

This is a very small nib. The only oblique holder I have that fits this nib is my speedball and I have to practically shove it in. It is small but it writes like a dream! Upstokes are hairline thin and it makes wide downstrokes. The tip is nice and sharp so you can square the top and bottom of the letters nicely to give each letter a sharp clean look. It also writes smoothly on paper. This is one of my favorite nibs so I use it often. I am so glad that Amazon sells them in packs, I like to have extra nibs available.

Literally just got these but I am pretty happy so far. One of the nibs looked damaged but after a little bit of work it started writing well. Oh well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad. The best part is that these do fit my speedball 104 nib holder. Not so well in the standard black nib holder. SUPER flexible and unless I'm flexing it a lot, it sends to hold quite a bit of ink

I used these as soon as they arrived and could not be happier with a purchase. It's difficult to decide on an item that you can only see in a picture but these are better that I could have hoped for.

Flexible, thick down strokes and very thin up strokes. This might be my favorite nib for writing names and last names.

My order arrived quickly as expected, and for that I was very pleased, but I am tremendously disappointed that only 1 out of the 3 nibs is actually usable. The one that works, works wonderfully, and it is my favorite nib of the different brands I tried. At first I though it may be a user error, but no matter what I tried, no ink was flowing trough two of the nibs, while one of the nibs was working great with the same setup (same ink, paper, cleaned nibs, etc.). I happen to have a microscope so I inspected the nibs and took a photo. You can clearly see the difference between the tip of the working nib (on left) and one of the faulty ones (on right). If you look closely you would see the right nib is split with a gap at the tip, and the left half is longer - that completely prevents the ink from reaching the tip and flowing trough.I've always had respect for German products, and I am very surprised that there is apparently no quality control on this product. I basically got a single nib for $10 :(
