Don't make the mistake of thinking this is a fancy watch with added gizmos -this is a specialised dive computer intended for free divers and spear fishers. That said, it does of course tell the time as well.First impressions are very good, and the green watch that I have looks chunky and like it means business. I'm quite in favour of that, because if I'm under water I need robust and dependable, not an eye candy fashion statement. The thick rubber strap has an impressive closure range going from tiny to huge, making this device useable by anyone from a bare wristed child up to a burly bloke in a dry suit.Pressing the button at 2 o'clock for five seconds switches the device on, activating the LCD display. All the modes and functions that a free diver needs are on board, and scrolling through them via the mode button at 8 o'clock is simple. The information given in each is clearly displayed and easy to read. At darker depths the screen can be illuminated temporarily by pressing the light button at 10 o'clock, resulting in a blue/green glow. It's on the faint side - probably in an effort to extend battery life - but is enough to be workable. It will save logs of your dives too (up to 99 at a time, apparently) provided you don't turn it off, which wipes the memory.I like the ability that the Driver (strange choice of name but never mind) gives me to set it up to give me the information that I decide I want. I can use it as a straight dive timer, set alarms for time or depth exceeded, see the water temperature and monitor my rates of descent and ascent. Most importantly perhaps it calculates your minimum suggested surface time after a dive, and can give hydration reminders.If you aren't already fully up to speed about why all this is important, it's vital you get some professional training before you even think about trying to use this dive computer for real. Failure to understand the dangers of diving and the profound physical effects of diving at depth can quickly lead to life threatening situations! The good news is that once you are properly trained, a dive computer like this keeps you safe.A divers' safety is also dependant on the reliability of their equipment. Pretty much every dive computer I've encountered has both good and bad stories attached to it, with mixed reviews to match. Occasional failure of them seems to be par for the course, and it's a hostile environment they are being operated in. What I can say is that to date, my sample device has been entirely reliable, but if that changes I'll certainly come back and let you know.Are there any points I've noticed that might be improved on by SEAC? Well, yes - a couple:Although technically possible to replace the ubiquitous CR2032 battery yourself (with a tiny screwdriver, a steady hand and under magnification for greatest safety) it's recommended by SEAC that you send it to their official service centre (address not given!). The reason: integrity of the rubber seal on the back plate is paramount, and water pressure at the maximum dive depth of 100m is considerable. For safety, every time a new battery is fitted a new rubber seal ought to be fitted too, correctly aligned and under even pressure. So my question is, wouldn't a sealed-in rechargeable battery prove more reliable and remove a significant failure mode? It would remove service costs anyway.The second point of note is the data connection, for downloading and analysing / saving your dives. A row of four contacts for doing just that, are on the rear of the case. A lead is not provided though, so you'll need to purchase an optional data cradle, if you can find one. I couldn't.Don't be put off by the two points above, this remains a good dive computer. I merely mention them as suggestions to SEAC as things to possibly consider going forward.As this device stands right now, and based on my own experience of it to date, it's rugged and reliable. And at the asking price of around the £140 - £150 mark it's my opinion that this dive computer represents good value for money.SEAC are a well known Italian dive equipment company from Genoa, who will soon be celebrating their 50 year anniversary.

My husband tells me this is an excellent watch for divers.It monitors lots of things like: dive and ascent speed, dive time, etc. It has fresh and saltwater settings. It also tells the time.He especially likes how all the info can be downloaded to a computer and shows the different details for different dives recorded.It feels well-made and sturdy. I think it will last a long time. He also prefers the black colour to the green one that I showed him was an option. The black actually looks quite smart, for such a chunky watch.And it has great options for wrist thickness, meaning he can wear it over any diving gear he has on, or just round his wrist.It's expensive but seems worth it.

This watch is the real deal. It is a proper diver's watch and mini dive computer, with all the functions a real diver needs, both for information and for personal safety. It even has settings for salt and fresh water. It monitors your performance and relevant external information and makes it available to you in real time, during the dive. It even lights up so you can read the output underwater. It even works out, from depth and length of time at depth, how much surface time you need before diving again - and has many more functions beyond this, all of which you can choose or ignore. And it saves the data from your dives as well. You can download them onto your computer as well, but does not provide the connecting cable to do so. It comes with decent, basic instructions and the full manual is available online.

Provato in mare, svolge il suo lavoro come da descrizione, schermo chiaro e leggibile anche in acqua. Ho scelto la versione verde che appare di una gradevole tonalità opaca/ army green , insomma lo si può mettere al polso anche durante la vacanza; sempre a livello di design segnalo che a me piace cosi, però tutto la superficie esterna ha un colpo d'occhio un po' plasticoso,tipo nei pulsanti, ma del resto credo sia il rivestimento esterno della scatola orologio in acciaio . Cinturino comodo , menù semplici. Ottima cosa il fatto che lo si può come spegnere per salvare batteria

Lo uso para pesca submarina. Buscaba uno económico que no tuviera tablas de buceo.Funciona correctamente, solo lo he usado 3 veces. Si algo no me gusta es la información después de cada bajada. Aparece la profundidad máxima, el tiempo en superficie (importante) y la temperatura? Hay que pulsar un botón para ver el tiempo de apnea. Esto podría estar en la pantalla sin pulsar ningún botón. Otra cosa es que la revisión de la bitácora no es intuitiva, la secuencia de botones me parece rara, las tres veces tuve que mirar el manual para hacerlo.Muy bien el aviso de beber agua!

je suis pas un adepte des review complètes, d'autres l'ont fait.Mais j'adore cette montre. Pour l'instant depuis une semaine au bras, donc pour la durée de la pile, je peux pas tirer de conclusions. Mais après deux jours de chasse, j'apprécie enormément d'avoir surtout les repos à la remontée. Etant bigleu de vieillesse, je regrette le manque de lisibilité de l'écran un petit peu. Quand on plonge difficile d'avoir les lunettes de vue.Génial que ça démarre tout seul au départ du canard. Par contre dommage que l'info de la plongée disparaisse immédiatement à l'arrivée à la surface. Une temporisation aurait été cool.l'éclairage, un peu faible je trouve, mais suffisant quand il fait noir complet.En tout cas, je ne voulais que deux trois fonctions, et il y'en a tout plein qui sont très cool.Par contre, le cable propriétaire sur une montre connectée, même si je n'en ai aucune utilité, c'est vraiment naze de la part de la marque, quand on le vend 30 euros !

Arrivato dopo un mese di uso si accende e si spegne, mi trovo in Brasile rientro 23,vorrei sostituzione

Sinceramente considerarlo un computer da polso per immersioni mi sembra un po' una forzatura, lo definirei più un orologio che implementa svariate funzioni da apnea. Affidabile nelle misurazioni, è molto comodo che tutti i dati siano disponibili sulla schermata principale senza dover ricorrere alla pressione dei pulsanti. Buoni i materiali e buona la leggibilità sott'acqua. Uno strumento valido quindi, di cui trovo apprezzabilissimo lo studio della cassa e del comparto batterie. Mi spiego: spesso uno strumento come questo viene utilizzato stagionalmente e non necessita di essere alimentato tutto l'anno. Questo Seac Driver si alimenta con una batteria CR2032 molto comune, si trova in tabaccheria, ed il comparto batteria è facilmente apribile con un piccolo cacciavite, così, quando non lo si usa, è facile togliere la batteria per poi reinserirla quando serve. Tutto sta a serrare bene le viti prima di immergersi per garantire l'impermeabilità dell'orologio. Vista la validità delle misurazioni, 4 stelle ci stanno a pennello. Occhio al prezzo: oggi in colorazione nera costa 164 euro mentre in verde 119,08. Troppa differenza per il solo colore!Attenzione che il cinturino prevede l'uso sopra la muta, quindi è molto largo e non permette una buona calzata senza lo spessore della muta.

Completísimo reloj computadora perfecto para buceo. En casa somos bastante aficionados al buceo y hemos probado varios relojes de este tipo, pero desde luego el más completo hasta ahora es este. Es súper practico y muy funcional. Registra nuestro perfil de buceo con detalles completos aportando datos sobre el rendimiento y la seguridad en tiempo real y a la vez los guarda en la memoria de archivo para siguientes inmersiones. Los datos principales, velocidad y ascenso de buceo, temperatura, tiempo de buceo, profundidad, etc, son visibles a simple vista lo que lo hace muy cómodo. La memoria interna del reloj computadora tiene una gran capacidad, hasta 500 inmersiones y se pueden consultar directamente en la pantalla. Resiste hasta 100 metros de profundidad y se puede poner tanto sobre traje de neopreno como sobre la piel. Tienes la opción de medir los valores de buceo tanto en agua dulce como salada. En definitiva, si sois aficionados al buceo os lo recomiendo mucho porque además tiene una relación calidad-precio excelentes. Un imprescindible.

Nata nel 1971, è associata Confisub, un’associazione di aziende di Confindustria che da sola pare detenga il 70% del mercato internazionale dei prodotti per gli sport acquatici.- L’orologio è esclusivamente destinato all'apnea, non al diving con le bombole.RECENSIONEL’impostazione estetica è di tipo tradizionale: display a cristalli liquidi bicolore. Una scelta per molti versi forzata, poiché è questa la soluzione più parsimoniosa (il che vuol dire maggiore autonomia delle batterie) ma anche quella che favorisce il miglior contrasto dei numeri e dei caratteri, e quindi superiore visibilità sotto la superficie.Come da tradizione anche il fondello, con chiusura a viti: è l’opzione per consentire la massima tenuta stagna. Die Tauchgänge stehen noch an und daher auch einige wertvolle Beurteilungskriterien.Man kann den Tauchcomputer ganz angenehm am Handgelenk tragen, ob an Boot, am Strand, oder auch während eines Spaziergangs. Es ist nicht zu klobbig und auch nicht allzu auffällig groß. Das gefällt. So kann man auch unterwegs im urlaub jederzeit die Uhrzeit sehen und kann sein Smartphone oder die normale Uhr in der Unterkunft lassen. Das Display und Gehäuse ist etwas größer als eine normale Armbanduhr. Dies ist auf dem Bild nicht ganz ersichtlich, das Produkt ist allerdings auch wesentlich kleiner als die meisten üblichen Tauchcomputer. Für meinen Eindruck ein gutes Verhältnis.Nun zum eigentlichen Zweck: Das Display kann man gut ablesen. Für schlechte Lichtverhältnisse gibt es auch eine Beleuchtung. Siamo ormai in piena stagione estiva ed è periodo di vacanze ... quale migliore occasione è quella di praticare la pesca subacquea o immergersi semplicemente in profondità in apnea e ammirare i fondali marini, meglio ancora se muniti di un computer subacqueo che ci permette di controllare la durata delle immersioni e i tempi per una risalita sicura."SEAC DRIVER" è un computer da polso unisex, adatto per le immersioni in apnea e pesca subacquea (anche se nessuno vieta che si possa utilizzare come normale orologio da polso).Ha un design sportivo e accattivante, di colore nero, realizzato con materiali di ottima qualità, con un cinturino regolabile, robusto che non si logora e nè si arruginisce.L'orologio è leggero (pesa 75 grammi) e maneggevole e si può indossare con disinvoltura, sopra il polsino della muta.Il display è facile da leggere, ha caratteri nitidi e ben visibili, per favorire una buona leggibilità durante le immersioni sia dell'orario che dei valori rilevati (vedi foto).Un suo punto di forza è che tutti i dati principali sono disponibili sulla schermata principale.Pertanto è facile da usare, avendo sotto controllo tutti i parametri che servono, e immergendoci con il computer "SEAC DRIVER" possiamo avere la garanzia che ogni dato è immediatamente a disposizione.Per ogni immersione rileva la profondità, la velocità d'immersione e di risalita, il tempo d'immersione, la temperatura dell'acqua, il tempo minimo di recupero tra un'apnea e l'altra e l'allarme disidratazione.Inoltre abbiamo anche la possibilità d'impostare il tipo di acqua in cui ci immergiamo: salata o dolce.Conserva in memoria una cronologia capace di contenere fin a circa 500 immersioni, che si possono consultare sul display.Inoltre possiamo trasferire il tutto in un PC o MAC per poter salvare i dati e rielaborarli e fare i confronti con le varie immersioni (purtroppo però il cavo dati USB non è in dotazione e bisogna acquistarlo separatamente).Non mancano gli allarmi acustici e visivi che avvisano ogni volta che si raggiungono determinati parametri e che possono essere anche disattivati.Si alimenta con una batteria CR2032 (già fornita e inserita), che resiste fino ad una profondità di 100 metri e il suo scomparto è chiuso con 3 minuscole viti.Per attivare il display dell'orologio basta semplicemente tenere premuto per 5 secondi circa il pulsantino in basso a sinistra.Mentre per attivare la retroilluminazione del display (solo per 5 secondi), occorre premere il pulsantino in alto a sinistra.Comunque, per evitare di annoiare non descrivo tutte le funzioni e le caratteristiche dell'orologio ... consiglio leggere attentamente il manuale delle istruzioni dato in dotazione, scritto anche in italiano, in cui tutto è spiegato abbastanza bene.Assegno 4 stelle perchè è un buon prodotto, leggero, pratico e funzionale, adatto per le immersioni in apnea, venduto ad Agosto 2019 ad un prezzo adeguato (163,98 euro quello nero standard e 146,95 euro quello verde standard).

Cette montre Seac Driver et vraiment très efficace, elle fait bien son travail ! Je suis débutante et pour moi cela me convient très bien.Déjà on peut régler au douce ou eau salé, on décide de mettre au non les signaux sonore ou lumineux. On peut voir toutes les données importantes sur l'écran principal , la vitesse de descente et de remontée, la température de l'eau, le temps d'apnée et de récupération.Il y à une bonne de mémoire sur la montre elle-même, les données se divisent en sessions et en plongées individuelles, on peux après y mettre sur l'ordinateur mais malheureusement c'est un câble à acheter en plus il coûte environ 30 €. Points positifs on peux l'éteindre pour économiser la batterie car on n'est pas obligé de l'utiliser quotidiennement on peut l'utiliser seulement quand on plonge.Point négatif le bracelet qui est vraiment très très dur, mais à part ça c'est un produit que je recommande car même si c'est un petit peu compliqué de se faire la main dessus il est trop important d'avoir un outil de ce genre quand on commence à faire de la plongée en apnée.

Dabei habe ich keine Bauarbeiter Arme sondern eher zierliche Handgelenke; dennoch ist das Band nicht lange genug, um das letzte Loch der Dornschließe ist zu erreichen.Insofern stimmt die Beschreibung nicht denn über einem Tauchanzug ist dieser Tauchcomputer leider nicht zu tragen.Und um ohne Anzug zu tauchen ist es in hiesigen Gewässern leider viel zu kalt.Da reißen auch das gut ablesbare Display und die intuitive Bedienung nicht mehr.
