I took a fanny pack and this book bag with me on my trip to Spain. I was hopping cities like crazy and wanted something I can easily haul around. Spain has cobblestone grounds so it was easier to have this on my back than trying to stroll this along if it had wheels.Relatable - my brother got pick pocketed in Italy. But they achieved it my slashing his book bag with a pocket knife. So of course the first thing I did was check to see if it's slash proof. I took a rigid kitchen knife to this book bag and it did not even shred a thread. I also placed it under the water faucet and can confirm that it is water proof.This bag has plenty of space and compartments! To get into detail of what I was able to fit: 1 pair of jeans, 2 leggings, 1 jean jacket, 3 dresses, 4 shirts, 2 thick sweaters, 4 tank tops, 1 pair of shorts, 2 pj sets, undergarments, 1 swimwear, 1 scarf, toiletries, 1 mini blow dryer, 1 iPad, 1 battery pack, 1 book, 2 pairs of sneakers, 1 pair of Birkenstock and any snacks I collected from the plane rides (hehe). It did fit a water bottle on the side as well. The anti-theft pocket in the back was great; however, I personally kept all monies/passports/etc in my fanny pack.The only thing I wish it had was the TSA locks already attached to the bag. Because it didn't I did sought out a TSA approved combo lock at Target. It made me feel better about it being on my back whilst walking around.

I purchased this backpack for my laptop and books for school. The pack is relatively well built with a good storage capacity for several books, laptop, tablet, notebook and various items. However the zippers on the rear of the pack don't stay in place and slowly ease open. I hadn't thought much of this at first until one day as I stepped off the bus the zippers flew open and my laptop and iPad fell out and hit the pavement!I have protective cases on both of those items, but they landed with such an impact I initially thought that I must have broken something. I've added a lock to prevent the zipper from releasing in this way again, but it's a bit irritating that I have to make additional accommodations in order for this premium product to function normally and not drop thousands of dollars in equipment onto the ground.

I love this bag. I first bought it after I got into an accident and had to use the local public transit. The storage is incredible. I also really found the laptop pocket appealing and great to use. I also like that you can cinch down the bag so it's not too bulky if you don't have a lot of stuff in it. The range of pockets and places to put things in this bag is great. I can really keep things organized and in place during travel.I now commute on a motorcycle and it's just as GREAT! I keep my laptop in the main part of the bag, and use the laptop section for a hydration pack for long rides. Definitely a good purchase!!

I attended a knitting/crochet convention and needed a way to carry a large amount of supplies with me. The nature of the craft dictates a need for a lot of stuff...at least the way I do it. I needed a bag to take the items to class and the exhibit floor, but leave my hands free. This bag did the trick. I took it on a second trip on a plane loaded with yarn to work on at the airport and on the plane. It did the trick well. I also used when attending a professional continuing ed class. It held all of the books, notebooks, office supplies, etc well. I love the usb hookup to a power source located in the bag. Very slick! It is large so it could easily be packed to weigh a lot. I had to be careful I didn't put so much in it I couldn't carry it.

I bought this for my son to use for school - NOPE - he is not getting it! It is mine. This bag is everything a backpack should be - roomy, comfortable to wear. I am the owner of a travel agency who does a lot of work with youngsters who backpack and THIS is THE backpack for them. I am super impressed with this. There is a pocket that is located in the small of your back to be able to hide items such as a wallet or passports, then 2 large sections, pockets in each section. So versitile & well made.

I've looked at so many backpack reviews and bought several backpacks that were disappointing. When I purchase this backpack I had done a lot of research to find the best backpack that was going to work for me. This is it! This is the best backpack that I have boughten not only for personal and traveling but as a mobile office! This backpack is so durable, has so many pockets, and just overall is the best backpack I've ever owned!!!

I have to admit, when we first got this backpack it looked like a shoulder bag in the packaging... I almost was getting ready to send it back, but thought, no clearly I ordered a backpack and tore it open. Sure enough it is an amazing backpack and made with top quality for head duty regular use. We got this for our daughter who is in high school and she is very happy. I really like the extra support put into the shoulder straps. Great bag for almost any purpose.

I needed a backpack to store my notebook computer, my planner, a tablet, pens, my purse and some odd and end personal items. I could only have one carry on bag. The only problem....on smaller planes, it had to go over head because of leg space. It held all my belongs with ease! The quality is fantastic for the price. More girlie colors is a desire. I opt for the gray rather than black.
