Good fit looks very close to original one year later still good

Installing this is pretty straight forward. Getting your inner door panel off and out of the way is what it is. The only place you might get hung up a little bit would be if the screws you need to remove to get the old handle out are pretty rusty, as was the case with my passenger door. One of the screw anchors that hold it to the door stripped out of the old plastic handle because of the rust, but a pair of small needle nose vice grips and a bit of penetrating oil got it out of the anchor. Installing the new one was a breeze. I guess it's a fair price, but these are plastic just like the originals, which is why I rated the durability at 4 stars.

Bought the passenger side 2005 GMC Sierra No keyhole, went on quick at maybe 15 min, I had replaced driver side a week before so I kinda knew what I was doing, easy repair looks and feels like OEM

This is not easy to install but I think that’s Chevy’s fault-not the handle. The little plastic clip is where the $3.00 price comes in, it broke almost immediately. Luckily it’s the only plastic part of the handle so I used the one off my old door handle. Still giving this 5 stars. Absolutely worth the price.

Early 2k model GM trucks are notorious for broken door handles. They become brittle over time from hot/cold cycles and then one day they break off in your hand (usually at 5am in the dead of the winter when you're leaving for work😀) These Dorman handles look identical to stock but only last a fraction of time before the inevitable happens. You are better off buying OEM and while you're at it just buy two so you aren't waiting days while struggling to operate the door of your truck. Bought these to use on my 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. They fit well and were easy to install but like I stated above, if you can afford it, just spend the extra and get OEM.

Little bit cheaper plastic. I also noticed the recoil spring on the inside of the handle is a few coils smaller (maybe for easier handle-pull). Works well and the fitment was perfect.

I used this to replace one that I pulled off my truck (woops). The plastic feels maybe a little lighter than the factory one. But I won't remove any points for that. It installs right in place with no fuss, and it feels like a new truck door handle with a good firm pull and feedback from the "unlatch" action.

Virtually exact match to original other than a hollow pin instead of solid pin at pivot point. Perfect fit, installed in 5 minutes. Half the price of the doorman replacements sold at Nation wide Canadian stores.
