This is my favorite tea cup. I bought a second one because I realized I'd lose my mind if I broke it. It's absolutely gorgeous and the glass is thick and sturdy. I've actually dropped it on carpet and it didn't break (whew!). It fits 8 oz of water perfectly (shown, 12 oz is probably completely full). If you're a large coffee person, they have a bigger, taller option too! So I was skeptical at first the glue between the metal frame and glass would get weak or get water stuck in it - nope, I've had it about 6 mo's, drinking out if it daily, and it's like a rock. Occasionally I'll spill some down the side and it'll run out the metal part when I tip it, but that's my own fault, it doesn't happen often, even after washing. (It doesn't say whether it can be put on the dishwasher, which is unfortunate, but it's easy to clean by hand .) I also thought the gold or blue would wear off or the rhinestones would fall off - nope again! Finally, I thought it would get too hot cuz the handle is metal, and granted the base gets really hot on my mug warmer, but the handle itself doesn't get too hot. It's beyond beautiful and a quality cup. Well worth the price, plus you get a tiny matching spoon, and it comes in a really beautiful box. I never say this, but it honestly would make an amazing gift for a tea lover! The only reason this doesn't have many reviews I think is there are MANY different designs of the same style of cup, if they were integrated into one listing, this cup would be rated much higher probably. There's ones with beautiful twining flowers, there are taller versions, so many beautiful options. Definitely get this or one of its gorgeous relatives!

I just started drinking like 6 cups of hot tea a day and wanted something cute to drink out of. This is even better in person. It’s so elegant.. beautiful. Going to buy more for everyone I know.

Very pretty tea cup for display. Seems well made

Just received it today as a gift for someone so I cannot speak to how well it will hold up. It’s a beautiful mug with a nice weight to the glass. However, I received it without the spoon and the mug was not properly seated in the styrofoam bed in its gift box. It appears the mug was a return. Amazon warehouse must do a better job of ensuring returned items are suitable for resale

The only con about this tea cup is that on some parts of the designs on the handle, are pretty sharp and can be uncomfortable to hold... other than that.. beautiful cup!

Update! Received a new one today, everything was perfect! Thank you!I bought this as a gift. My friend still loved it but she shouldn't have to fix it. We both loved the package. It was a very cute box. I appreciated the doily and cleaning cloth that came with it. All in all I am unsure if I'd buy again. Maybe someone can reach out and help me get a replacement? I would appreciate it.

I was a bit worried that this cup would look and feel cheap when it arrived but nope! It feels and looks very high quality. So much so that the person I gave it to hasn't used it and keeps it in a display case with other crystal and glass. I don't drink tea but I do drink whiskey so I know how important a proper glass is. This has nice weight and looks great.Highly recommend.

I purchased two of these, sooooo beautiful. Drinking tea out of this cup seems to make it so much better. I absolutely love it.Arrived promptly, well packaged in a lovely gift box should that be the reason for buy this item. The cup is quite sturdy, but I do wash it carefully, would not recommend putting it in a dishwasher because of the intricate designs and the small "gem" stones.Highly recommend this item for personal use or as a gift.
