Powerful Little Magnets!
I have a rather cheap free-standing closet that I regret buying, but its shortcomings weren't fully realized until it was completely assembled, and by then it was too late because taking it apart would have been even more difficult than putting it together. It's greatest problem was that the doors "closed" via an inner magnetic strip that "stuck" or was supposed to stick, to the center metal support in the front of the closet. The magnetic strips are so incredibly weak that it barely keeps the top of the doors in place. I tried putting on a self-adhering magnetic tape from the top to the botom of the doors, but that was too weak. I started searching for magnets and found these incredible beauties. They do have to be epoxied to the canvas covering of the closet in order to stick but they REALLY grab onto the central metal support wherever I've glued them, and they keep the doors stuck shut! The magnets are powerful and effective. I'm glad that so many came in the package because I keep on thinking up new applications around the house where these will come in very handy. These are very worth the money, though not very expensive, and I am so happy that I bought them. You will be too.

Great for custom kitchen knife mount
I’m not sure what other people used these for but my use was to make a custom knife holder in the kitchen.I routed out a piece of walnut wide enough for these. Leaving about 1/8 if material thickness. With that I hung it on the wall. The magnets are thin and strong enough that I can hang knives from the face. It’s a great option but could have been alllittle stronger but it fully works without a problem.

Now I can easily get my spices.
These magnets are pretty strong. I wanted spices on my fridge but could only find 4 oz magnetic jars. That just isn't enough. I'm not going to spend my time filling spice jars every other day.I don't think my mason jars of spices are more than 7 lbs, but I'm also not putting them directly on a thick metal plate. It took two of the magnets to get the job done which was fine. I am very happy with the end result. The Loctite Go2 Gel Clear Adhesive .60-Fluid Ounce Tube (1832982) glue worked well. The Loctite Ultra Gel Control Super Glue 4-Gram (1363589) worked the best but only had enough for about six magnets.

awesome. strongest magnets I have found
just know that these are SO strong. i have used an epoxy to attach these the bottom of wooden storage boxes that are on my refrigerator. Unfortunately I live in a very crooked apartment so my refrigerator is on the slant. I now no longer have to worry about the boxes falling off of the refrigerator. As a matter fact I can barely move them because they're so securely magnetized lol

Perfect for my project idea
I used these magnets to replace a latch on a vehicle center console. Using a carbide bit I drilled to provide a counter sink for the screw I was using to attach to the console. I tried other magnets and attachment ideas but i finally got my desired effect. No latch to mess with and a magnet strong enough to hold the cover in place and just heavy enough that you can drop the lid without it slamming. Plus I have more that I can use should I come up with another idea.

Good, mid strength magnet
I would say these are a medium strength. Stronger than a fridge magnet but not as strong as neodymium. Also, just an FYI, the magnets are enclosed in a metal sleeve. That doesn't matter to me but I'm putting it here.

Strong but very good
Very very strong. I bought these to attach a paper tray to a Mitsubishi dye-sub printer (that needs one, but the company doesn't make one). I used some cardboard to make the tray and needed a way to attach it that's removable. I didn't want to just retape the tray every time I had to open the printer and change out paper and ribbon because it'll tear up the homemade tray and leave residue on the printer. I was afraid these would be too strong at first but after I taped them to the homemade tray it reduced the strength just enough to make them perfect. The tray itself doesn't look bad for being homemade, but obviously it's not as good looking as a commercially produced one. However, the magnets on the printer with the metal covering look very nice.

Not sure what these actually would be useful for other than refrigerator magnets
These are fairly strong - as refrigerator magnets go. There's NO WAY they'll hold 7 pounds of weight unless it's 7 pounds of iron in a perfect configuration (as specified in the small print). Good for refrigerator magnets, or for picking paper clips or nails up from the floor (if you'd rather use a magnet than your fingers). They will also hold an average kitchen knife - but ONLY if the knife is touching the magnet side rather than the metal cover side.
