Tulip Long Sashiko Needles Assorted Tube of 6 (3-(Pack))

These are beautiful needles, strong and high-quality. However, I was not using them to sew on traditional sashiko fabric, which is more loosely woven then what most quilters use. I was using it to quilt on batik fabric, using pearl cotton. batik fabric is very tightly woven. This made it impossible to get the thick needle through the tight weave. I can't use them for hand quilting on batik fabric, but will probably find another use for them.

it advertises a tube of 6 but I got mine today and there are only 4 in it. From my measurements, it is the 2 smallest ones missing. I am not going through the hassle of returning since I planned to mainly use the longer ones but it would have been nice to receive what I paid for.

I was shorted a needle. I agree with another reviewer that it's bad quality control. Not happy.

Held their shape without bending too much during the Sashiko process of folding fabric on the needle. Sharpness held through three straight days of using the same needle. Pleased with the quality for the price.

Very nice....just what is needed. I started with the shortest needle and have now moved to the medium size. The technique is easy and enjoyable.

Although these Tulip Shashiko Needles are beautifully made and a dream to use, their pretty box arrived crushed.
