Red pen preference
I have always liked Faber-Castel pens before they turned into Uniball pens. No one carries them in store, even at the office supply locations. Left with searching the net to find if they even still exist, and this is what I want when I want a red pen .5 micro ball in the style Faber-Castel originally produced. Pardon me for a moment, when this is what you prefer and nothing else will satisfy, second best does not cut the mustard.

Great quality!
I'm a diehard Pilot G2 fan but these pens were on a good sale so I gave them a try. They're wonderful!! Fresh out of the box they write super clean without skipping or anything. Very impressed.

OLD & NOT SO IMPROVED!
Good pens, although as with everything, not as good as they once were. Too many newer, better, new & improved versions for the same "old" quality and reliability to be maintained in the original product. While I used to love this product, it is still a pretty good pen!

Fantastic fine tip and good flow.
I bought these in both red and black. I am very picky about pens, I love the fine strokes these make, and I use them for both drawing and writing. They are my new “go to” pen. The pen writes very smoothly with no gaps in the strokes.
