Brilliant little timer!
Brilliant little timer! I bought one of these for my elderly mother who is deaf and she can hear it at the loudest volume even when she's in another room. I ordered this one for myself and just the lowest volume is fine for me, haven't needed anything louder yet. Maybe if I was out in the garden or upstairs I might use it. So easy to use with a very clear display.

Very Loud and Clear Alarm – Great Kitchen Reminder
Good timer. The beep/alarm sound is very loud and clear. Very useful when you switch on the hob, as it reminds you to turn it off or to time your recipe. The physical, clicky buttons are useful as well. I believe the loudness is set to level 1 (out of 3), and it is already very loud.

Sound
Salter usually a well made product, which it is. It has a separate hour facility, which makes it simpler to use rather than having to press the minute button up to an hour. My one complaint is the alarm sound it makes when timer goes off. It is far too much like a fire alarm. Really unsuitable. If I hadn’t opened and tried it I would have returned. Please Salter reconsider the sound. One star removed due to this.

Very loud
Good but v loud even on lowest setting. Shouldn’t complain as this is probably a good thing!

Strong magnetic timer, big numbers and loud enough alarm
Small but sturdy. Easy to use. Magnetic timer lives on my fridge/freezer door. Loud alarm with easy instructions to use. Big numbers so easy to see at a glance. Counts down hours, minutes, seconds with light behind the figures.

Loud enough to hear all over the house
A very easy to use timer and loud enough to hear so we do not miss hearing it.

The alarm is way too ludicrous and the buttons don't work so well .
Good idea but poor exection the diary is readable and the magnet strong However the alarm -even on the low setting -is too loud .- its sounds like a snake alarm. The buttons on the device don't ways work [esprciily the start timer button] .You have to check . Fior some reason mine dices just to go off on its own despite no buttons being pushed .

Pretty good, but be warned if you're forgetful...
It does the basics well - there's a stopwatch (up to 19hrs 59m), and there's a countdown timer. Not much other than that. There are a few questionable design choices though. 1. It's incredibly loud, even on the lowest setting. It's virtually at the level of a fire alarm. The louder options must be deafening. 2. I do wonder why it needs to be so thick. 3. Be very wary if you're a bit forgetful and you use the stopwatch function - there have been times when I unknowingly left the stopwatch running, I go out to work or shopping the following day, and when I come home, I can hear the damn thing beeping away from outside the door (sorry to my neighbours!). Once it reaches that 19hr59m stopwatch limit, evidently it does DOES NOT stop beeping till you turn it off, which I really think is unnecessary. So as long as you're mindful, I suppose it does its job.
