Instructions were easy. Need 3 triple A batteries. I have a stand up punch bag, so I put it on top. And did a workout and the app showed me what I could do in 4 minutes ..... I am hooked ! I do have some feed back but it’s more for the app. But the product is awesome and I highly recommend it.

Horrible product I wasted my money it didn’t work

I bought this expecting it to be pretty shoddy & inconsistent and that I would have to return it but was very pleasantly surprised.Pros:- Force measurement seems extremely consistent. When I tested it out, the output scaled really well with how hard I was trying to throw- The app works/the device connects automatically once you hit the bagCons:- The app is missing some basic QoL features, like being able to have a countdown after pressing start (it just starts after like 3 seconds). This isn't a huge deal as I just put one glove on, start it and then put the other glove on. The bigger complaint is that the device doesn't keep track of your highest punch numbers, so you kind of have to watch it as you're working, which can be distracting.Overall I'm a big fan - the inconveniences with the app is the only reason it's not 5 stars for me.

The concept is great but the execution is way off to make this anymore than a gimmick to me. It’s not worth $100 for me so I’ll be returning it.Positives - Connects easily to the device. Tracks your number of punches, power and speed and displays it nicely. As you hit the bag it immediately shows a bar graph for power.Cons - The app is terrible to actually use and I think almost nobody real world tested this.When I start a workout the app says to punch the bag to start the 3 second countdown. Sounds simple enough but if I don’t hit the bag within a few seconds it starts the countdown automatically, while I’m still putting my gloves on!You cannot use the app and play music at the same time. I like to have music pumping while I workout, not with this app. As soon as the workout starts the music gets cut off.There is also no “pause” button, meaning if some reason you are interrupted, that’s just too bad the app will keep running.The biggest flaw though is it doesn’t properly save my data or truly save the actual workouts.After you are finished it is doesn’t display the workout data it just returns to the home screen. There is a workout history button but when you click on that the total punch count and total punch power show zero as does the bar graph. It only shows total time, average punch speed and average power.If that isn’t bad enough, once I view that data and go back to the home screen the workout isn’t saved! It’s gone, no history is displayed if I go back to “Training History”.
