After reading through 'many' reviews, I ordered this model of Digital Film & Slide Scanner converter due to the fact I had negatives and slides of different formats. It is such a joy to use and great for hobbyists. It is exactly as described. Light weight and small. Fits neatly in one hand. Plug in the USB and then login the software Blaze photo to scan the film. Works great! I have thousands of slides from my pre-digital life that I haven't looked at in years, and now converting them to digital images is fun and is going rather quickly. You can't beat the price for this device.

First of all, there is no CD, you need to go to a website to download the software. In the webb address given, you can't tell if a character is a capital i or an l. Took me forever to figure that out. Sometime when you scan a slide, it comes up green. After some fiddling, the green goes away. I am not sure why. There seems to be no setting that gives you a standard picture and all the images need some adjustment. Images not that sharp, no matter what resolution it is on. I find myself using a different image editing software to get an acceptable picture. Yes, it's going back.

The price is right, unfortunately, I find it very difficult to use and set up. After working with it to learn how to use it, I gave up. Will try it later. It is too bad no one furnishes a "HowTo" manual on equipment. Finally, found some kind of use pamphlet on the Blaze site. But had to print it so I can study it.Haven't been able to use it yet, cause don't know-how. I will return it if I can't use it in a couple of days.

Converts color negatives to Green only. Cannot get the software to do anything else. No response from seller. Sending this defective unit back.

I like this marvellous digital film & slide scanner converter. It solved the storage problem of my large number of my old films. I would highly recommend this product.
