This textbook is designed to be used in combination with a competent instructor. So reviews noting there's much missing ... there's a reason there is much missing from it.The book itself is concise, to the point, and a rundown of key concepts. I am able to get my reading & prep for class done quickly - then bring the fundamentals to the table when it's time to sit down with our professor & do actual learning. For the intended purpose of serving as a guide to the course material AND a study aid - this book is outstanding.Anyone with trouble learning the material with this book - the problem isn't this textbook ... you unfortunately have a sub-par professor.

Short and to the Point - Great Book!
This book is great! It covers the basics of marketing in an easy and quick style read. It boils down all the principles provided to you by many other leading marketing textbooks and delivers it in a 'meat and potatoes' style. It gets straight to business with very little fluff.Pros:-Derived from world renowned marketing textbooks-Delivers the same textbook quality read in half the page countCons:-Soft Cover-Less examples (trade off for half the read)

Content is good but print quality not so much
I like the way the content is written in this book. The information is clear, relatively concise, and very helpful with punctuating important points. My one dislike is that the print quality is spotty. Several pages had blurred or faded print forcing me to squint or struggle to read the page. A few pages also had random blobs of black ink suggesting general printing issues when making the book. I purchased a new (unused) book so was expecting much better quality.

Content is good, but examples are outdated
This was purchased as the required textbook for my marketing class. While the content and ideas are still relevant, the examples throughout the book are outdated. There are some mentions of C0VID affecting marketing, but they are next to mentions of "Web sites" and "faxing" and other such outdated terms, spellings, and technologies. The textbook needs, in my opinion, a complete overhaul with updated references and larger portions dedicated to mobile advertising, where applicable.
