I bought these for general activities and in particular, walking over rough ground. With the hard toe caps and thicker soles, I feared these might not be very flexible and might turn out to be uncomfortable to walk in, but they're absolutely fine. Every part of my feet is supported and cushioned, they're superbly comfortable and I hardly know I'm wearing them. The fit is exactly as it should be versus my size. Not sure how waterproof these are as I've only been out in light rain and shallow puddles.Update: A couple of months on and these are still extremely comfortable. They are not however waterproof, so if you step in puddles or walk through wet grass for example, expect to get wet socks.

These safety trainers are so comfortable! Have been wearing them for work for a couple of months now and so far they have been great. Very lightweight but safe and grip well and look smart enough. I am in a vehicle workshop all day and they show no sign of slipping on wet patches. Very impressed so far

Wear them to work for 40+ hours a week and they've lasted 10 months before both the sole and insole have started to give up. They are comfortable and extremely light weight for safety shoes without feeling flimsy, although you're unlikely to be wowed by the comfort, for the price they're extremely good. Held off writing a review until they gave up, as so many cheaper shoes tend to fall a part, but 10 months of full on use is pretty solid and I'm ordering another pair.

A little disappointed with the quality of these. They are incredibly comfortable but after just two weeks wear the under foot pads started to tear. It wouldn’t bother me but it’s right on the ball of the foot which is uncomfortable. I paid a little extra to make sure they were good quality, so feel a little let down.

Ordered these as my regular pair had started to let water in. Upon inspecting them on arrival I made the decision to return them straight away. They arrived vacuum sealed in a polythene wrapper (no box), so instantly looked cheap. After opening them I checked them over and was not impressed at all. Seemed very tight on my foot but the thing that put me off most was the sole. Extremely spongy. These wouldn't last 5 minutes where I work. There was no paperwork to suggest that they conformed to any British Standard legislation , so in my opinion, completely useless. Not a great product by any stretch of the imagination. Certainly wouldn't recommend this rubbish to anyone.

I am happy with my purchase, shoe are exactly want I was looking for.
