My grandson loves these shorts. He is pretty tall so these shorts have a longer left which is perfect for him.

Good if you need a pair of throw away play shorts
These are very poorly made from thin material. Are they worth $30? No, not at all. Is $19.99 a more realistic price? Yes. I bought these because I am on a never ending search for cargo shorts that aren't cut a half inch below the groin like women's shorts. The length is great however they are simply just throw away shorts. Dont expect them to the pair of shorts you throw on to do yard work because they will absolutely rip the first time.

Garbage fabric
Garbage fabric. I'm on my first wash/second wearing of a pair I just bought and once again they are ripped at the back pocket like a couple other pairs I had last year - I thought it was age. No, it's not. I realized exactly what's happening today - since they are long enough to cover my knee they occasionally get caught on it when I squat, and the fabric is so bad it just rips at the stitching at the corner of the pocket. I wasn't using these to do outdoor work in before, but now that I am I've ripped several pair from last year.So if you need them for sitting at a desk I guess they're fine.

Thin Material , Sizes smaller than Listed
These are really cheap material , Thin paper thin , and the buttons are weird . They also are 1-2 sizes smaller than listed . The thin material isn't a bad thing , in summer heat they will be good , but don't use for construction work , The size issue is a big deal and I saw another set of cargos that listed the sizes were smaller by the same guys but I had already ordered them and they shipped . I ordered 38s and these showed up as 34-36s I can wear both pairs if I suck my Dad bod in .
