This is a good product that has a naturally good shelf life. The color of the freeze dried powder is a highly saturated deep pink. I used the powder first to make a chocolate truffle only to realize the powder is too lightly flavored to make a good impact when mixed with chocolate. I tried fresh dragon fruit shortly after to remind myself what it tastes like and the it's not the powders fault, the natural fruit has a soft, sweet watery taste. Now I use powder for it's color and sprinkle it on top of wet chocolate as a beautiful garnish.

I wasn't getting quite the full Dragon fruit flavor I was expecting. It was bland. But then I realized that this powder wasn't fully dissolving in my smoothie with all the cold fruits (frozen berries, cold bananas, etc) that I was putting in there. So now I dissolve the powder in hot water before I put it in the smoothie and the dragon fruit flavor really comes out. The hot water makes the flavor bloom and its delicious.

First time trying Dragon Fruit and actually I liked it. it has a good taste. Price is okay at .51 cents a serving not bad since it’s $11.99 or more per pound at the store for the actual fruit that gives you maybe 3-4 servings. Definitely will buy again from this vendor if price stays the same. I did not find any clumps at all. Now I will see if it gives me energy and makes a difference in my over all health.

This is a tasty product made from a fruit that's actually good for you. I like the idea. I as it to smoothies and if say it improves the taste. Why it's not 5 starts is the packaging. It comes in a pouch. You dispense using an enclosed tiny scoop. That's fine. You only need a small amount of it. The"engineering" problem is that you need to reach into the pouch as it empties. It's awkward to do so, and your hand gets the bright red powder on it. This makes a mess. It really needs a different container.
