Being someone that travels internationally frequently and os not fluent in multiple languages, I decided to look for a translator to make things easier. After searching Amazon and comparing various devices, I settled on the Aspiring Voice Translator.A couple of features led me to my decision. Firstly, the Aspiring Voice Translator can translate to and from a large number of languages...Spanish...French..German...and Mandarin to name a few. Not only does this translator show you the translation but also speaks it to you. That definitely helps when you’re trying to ask for directions. The translator speaks words clearly and at a pace that makes it easy to understand.Second, the Aspiring Voice Translator is compact. It will easily fit into any pocket. And it does seem to be well constructed. It’s very modern and sleek looking.The Aspiring Voice Translator is very easy to use. The controls are very intuitive and responsive. Being someone that is semi ‘computer illiterate’, I was translating on this device in all of 5 minutes.But my favorite feature of the Aspiring Voice Translator has to be the built-in camera. It’s used to translate written words. Very cool. I was very excited to try this feature. I found a German language restaurant menu online and proceeded to put the translator to work. It picked up and correctly translated almost every word. I found a couple more documents to translate, and the Aspiring Voice Translator performed flawlessly.I can say enough about the Aspiring Voice Translator. I’ll be leaving on a trip to Europe next month, and I can’t wait to put this device to a real test. If you’re looking for a well-made, easy to use and very capable voice translator, this one by Aspiring is it. I highly recommend this device.

This is an EXCELLENT translator!Pick a red language and a blue language. Then it is very clear, push the red button to speak the red language and have it translate to blue OR press the blue button to speak the blue language and have it translate to the red language. Intuitive interface and EASY set up.It types the text of what you say (to check for autocorrects in your own language) then it speaks and prints the translation. VERY HELPFUL...you want to catch it before you say something unintended.You need to have a wifi service to use, but hot spot off your phone and you are golden if you are walking around and traveling.We used it for English, Russian and French in the same time frame and location for various purposes. Very quick to switch between languages.I can't recommend this enough!

 This touch screen translator is quite good.Compared to smartphones app translation, the speakers voice is very loud ,you can turn down or turn up the volume by yourself.The microphone is very sensitive, but if you do not pronounce it clearly, it may result in incorrect input. It understands basic words without problems.I think that the translation accuracy is good, and it is amazing that there are so many supported languages ​. Translations is better than Google Translate.The translation part itself is fast, there is no problem.This product is suitable for people who want to use the translation function independently, such as when they are dissatisfied with the translation speed of their smartphones, frequently travel abroad, or have many opportunities to contact foreigners.

I used to own the first generation and sold it, a had to have it! This unit is a MUST have for not only traveling to different countries like I do, it’s also great to learn a language! I go to South America and Spanish is important for me to learn. This machine helps to learn and pronounce phrases the correct way. If you like to learn/translate in many languages, you can’t go wrong! No comparison with phone apps that most people are Intermediated by. With this unit I don’t need my phone next to me, it’s a stand alone unit. People are already asking me to buy it in Matamoros Mexico!

 I really liked the quality of the materials with which the translator is made, is very easy to use and intuitive, the navigation menu is simple, I really liked the OCR to translate images, the translation quality is very good and the battery has lasted me a long time, it is connected by wifi, it translates very fast and the translation quality is very good.

I bought this device for my mom because she traveled to the US ans she's not an English speaker. I thought she wouldn't use it because she's not an tech lover either.Fortunately she used it and she was quite happy because it eased her trip and gave her the confidence to speak/translate in English everything she needed.I recommend this device because if mym mom could use it, anyone can.

What a waste.This device is only working with very simple phrases. it was translating something completely different.Not accurate, Not very helpful.Horrible did not work as expected. Very disappointed with this translator..the app translator is way BETTER than this..

I just got this today and I love it already. It translates Tagalog real good, the only words it doesn't understand that I have found so far is names of some foods. Other than that is works great.
