Forget the budget, its one of the best gaming mouse
I am not a budget gamer, I am an old dude who have been gaming since last 2 decades with costly hardware. I have used almost all gaming mouses from brands like Logitech, Steel-series and Razer (and a few more). In the past 5 years only I have used Logitech G502, G402, G102 and G304, Steelseries Rival 110 and maybe a few more I dont remember. I have been using G304 for the last couple of years and I absolutely love it for its sensor, its finish and perfect fit for my hands, but like other logitech mouse in the last couple of years I have gone through 2 G102. All these mice develops double click issue or some other button issues rendering them useless hardly before a year is over. So, when my last mouse started showing symptoms of failure, I turned to look for cheap mouse. Since costly mouse doesnt mean longer life for sure. And this CosmicByte Equinox Alpha is a damn good mouse with damn great sensor Pixart PMW3325 Sensor. Apart from fit on my hand, it completely keeps up with all the other costlier gaming mice in the list above. Also now even if it fails within a year I would not fret and simply go buy the next CosmicByte gaming mouse (will update the review when this mouse bites the dust). Oh btw, the games I use this mouse for are CSGO, Apex Legends, Fortnite and Valorant. And I am an extremely low sensitivity player 200-300 dpi and among the cheaper mice only this mouse gives me the ability to go this low. One thing I have to note though is that, its pretty big, and although its fit is not preferable but sensor comes first for me, fit I can adjust by changing my grip. Pros : Extremely cheap for a mouse with real gaming sensor Goes very low DPI Various lighting modes, and its colorful Streaming Lighting is absolutely gorgeous (if you do not like, there is always an option to disable lighting completely) Ofcourse accurate sensor with 1000hz polling rate. Nice thick braided cable. Cons : Pretty tall. So maynot be comfortable for many Printing at the back of the mouse is very low quality (just nitpicking here)

Better than Logitech Premium button quality.
im a Huge long time fan of Logitech gaming products, i have had about 2 or 3 mouse from g400s,g300s and a long time current Headphone Logitech G431. My main reason to chose CosmicByte Equinox Gamma Over other Logitech Gaming Mouse is because Logitech Mouse Build Quality has hit bottom floor, If you buy any Expensive Logitech Gaming Mouse there is 98% high chance the Middle click and Left click will not work properly after 2months of daily usage. for me warranty would not be a issue as i fix mouse buttons myself buying Omron Micro switch is quite cheap online, i fixed lotta mouses but Logitech is far g300s and g402 is the worst in record. i didn't jump to g502 cause i have lost faith in built quality in them. The Equinox Gamma has a Very sturdy build so far i haven't opened it up inside but so far clicks seems to be responsive with a strong tactile clicking feedback. The Mouse is Equipped with a Memory on Board so u can save custom settings onboard and This Eqinox Gamma is a Laser Mouse not a Optical, i dont know why reviewing say its optical cause its Laser i am not wrong, and in this price a laser mouse is pretty good deal (If there is red light its optical if its invisible light its laser). The weight is light even with full weights, i have no problem with the weight, im guessing since i have large hand this mouse feels fairly normal for daily use, maby this depends individually with wrist muscle or size/strength. The size of this mouse is not a issue as it seems to be quite similar to Logitech g402, but larger than g300s and g400s. i have hopes that the buttons would Last longer than a year with this Mouse by its Technical Aspects and Built quality. im not super RGB mouse fan as palm cover the lights half of the time but since i have it with this mouse have to say it looks cool.

FPS gamers heaven
If u are an FPS player and play games like valorant & cs go u might have heard about the brand zowie by benq. This mouse has exactly the same shape as the EC2-A mouse by Zowie Benq. So the shape is absolutely phenomenal and your aim really does get better with this mouse. The sensor is a pixart 3325 which is a gaming grade sensor and its tracking is very accurate and u wont face a spin out or any other tracking issues even at very low sensitivities it will track your movements spot on. The buttons this mouse uses are kailih 30 million switches and they have a long life time of 30 million clicks and u would never face the double clicking issue. Really nice and bright RGB lights. This updated version of equinox alpha has nice textured dots on the scroll wheel for grip and also the whole body of the mouse is coated with a rubbery substance which feels really matte to touch but is very grippy and for someone who has extremely sweaty hands this just perfect. the weight of the mouse is 92 grams. The mouse skates are really great they glide very smoothly just dont forget to peel the plastic off of the skates before using the mouse. it is a really good comfortable ergonomic gaming mouse and long periods of gaming do not strain your hands. This is a perfect mouse for this price but the only downside was the cable. The cable is braided and is very stiff and heavy and it hinders the movement of the mouse. I took the braiding off of the cable on my mouse and now it just has the rubber cable so its better now and u can also do the same or buy a third party para chord and install it in this mouse then it would the perfect mouse for this price. Regardless if u play Valorant or CSGO just go for this mouse if your budget is tight.

Degraded quality in the newer model
I had been using this mouse since 2018, the older model was flawless. Played a lot using it worked flawlessly for 2 yrs and then left buttom started having issue which is fine since it went on for 2 years. The newer model however was very trash, cheap material, sensor is not good, flicks wont register and LMB has problems after 4 months of usage!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST BUYING THIS PRODUCT. They have ruined the quality of this mouse

Great mouse, BUT THE PACKAGE WAS DAMAGED AND OPENED!
I would've rated more stars if the package was not TAMPERED WITH and DAMAGED, the SEAL was really LOOSE (almost open). The manual and the download link card were missing. I would've returned it had it not worked. But thankfully the mouse was working well and good with no scratches. Connected it to my laptop. 1. Software- Software is good with a good number of customizations (One thing to note, you can only change the color of the LEDs in 5 of the effects; Total - 11 effects). Changing the colors with the color palette is a little bit finicky though as it is not a normal color picker. The other weird thing is the software shows some other Cosmic Byte mouse (Equinox Gamma I guess ) on the home screen, not the same model. I wish there was music reaction support too as there is in the Cosmic Byte Orcus which is cheaper than this one. Polling rate & DPI can be changed through the software. 2. Look and Feel- The look and feel of this mouse is good. RGB is bright and mesmerizing. Clicks are tactile, scroll wheel is smooth and grips well because of the rubber, Side Buttons are a little bit on the soft side to press compared to the Left, Right and Mid mouse buttons. Comparing it to the Redgear A-20, it is lighter than that mouse and has more RGB Customization. The shape is a little interesting for my hands as I'm used to ambidextrous mouses, maybe that's just me, but it is comfortable. Placement of the side buttons is also better in this one compared to A-20. I use the palm grip so it fits well in my hands. The sensor light is invisible so it doesn't interfere with the RBG Lighting, so that's a plus. 3. Accuracy- Feels very responsive and smooth. Accurate for my 3D Workflow needs and gaming as well! Works without the need of a mousepad. Slides and works well on the surfaces I've tried. Just don't forget to remove the film from the feet grip, it is applied well and looks invisible, so can be hard to remove. Finally, if the package arrived in a better condition I would've given it more stars, but nonetheless it is a great mouse!

Best for budget gamers 🔥
If this is your first gaming mouse order it now!! Believe me Got it in deal for 1025rs 🔥🔥 So if you are a budget gamer and play fps competitive then buy it I just love this product have been using for some weeks now. If you play csgo this is best in this range and if you do awping then also this is my first choice. The sensor is really good yes there is a con that if you move mouse very- very-very fast then you may notice a bit of lag but no one is gonna do that, believe me even KennyS won't do such fast flicks I just did it to check sensor It's a bit on the heavy side but maybe that is because I have always used cheap 300 rs logitech office mouse and I bought this because that mouse's sensor was getting bad as I was improving I could feel the delay and lag in that one but this one is love ❤ Build quality is 1000/10 🔥 Software is OP 🔥🔥 Mouse is heaven The review may sound baised but buy it you'll know why

Not perfect but GOOD ENOUGH
I bought Alpha for ₹1079. I have used it daily since last 3 weeks for Valorant and R6. REMEMBER TO REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE FILM OVER THE MOUSE FEET. The film is so thin I didn't ever noticed in my 1st week of use. After removing the film it Glides Like Butter ❤️ PROs: 1. One of the best built quality for the price 2. Accurate tracking 3. Great ergonomic shape 4. Well balanced weight 5.Pretty good software CONs: 1. Lacks side grip (Significant only on long gaming sessions) QUICK FIX - I use grip tape. 2. The braided cable forms kinks quite easily. So watch out for that. Well it comes with a cable tie to help but not enough. Final thoughts: GREAT MOUSE, there nothing better for this price . Next best mouse is LOGITECH G102 GEN 2 but that has AMBIDEXTROUS SHAPE.
