HTC Vive SteamVR Base Station 2.0 (Single) – Precision Room-Scale Tracking for PC VR, Black

Works as advertised! Had this thing for around 2 months and it has worked flawlessly. I use it for Full-Body Tracking and have a 1 Base Station set up, everything works and tracks perfectly. Obviously i cannot turn around to where the Base Station cannot track, but spinning around only makes me lose tracking for a second. So if you were thinking about starting out with a one Base Station setup or cannot afford two, you wouldn't be missing out on much! Also this Base Station did not come with a wall mount, so make sure to buy some for it.

Great base station, but pricey in my opinion. Given the engineering behind them, the price is acceptable. It's really cool; you should find out how these work. It's got motors inside shooting IR light around horizontally and vertically at ~3600 RPM. This will be a perfect addition to our Bigscreen 2s and to our 34 Vive trackers. We love VR!!!

You can shoot down that MiG-27 in your F-104C. Two base stations work perfectly with my Bigscreen Beyond 2e headset. I pretty much just use it for VR flight simming in DCS almost exclusively flying in the F-104C, and a little in the F-86.

Dead ringer for Valve version. I was concerned that it would not work with the two valve versions I already had, but not a problem at all

I ordered two 2.0 Base stations and they arrived in good time, I was very pleased with how fast the shipping was. as I opened the package though I was very disappointed with how it was packed. One flimsy strip of bubble wrap and that was it. The base stations could easily freely move around in the box they were shipped in. I tested both and only one works. I'm surprised that even one works. as for the other one I plug it in and it seems alright for about a minute. it does the usual LED flashing blue then turn green. after that though it flashes red signifying hardware failure. The working one works great though tracks perfectly and I have had no issues with it. just really disappointed in how Amazon shipped these.

Like other reviews have stated there is no mount. You will have to buy a stand or mount separate. The cord is also a lot shorter (maybe about 5 feet) than the one that came with my Steam VR set. So plan accordingly. It is steamVR compatible. If this is your 3rd+ base station when you first start steamVR you may get notified that you need to change the channels on the base stations. The steamVR popup window will guide you through this process. If they add the mount and increase the length of the cord. I will raise it to 5 stars. This base station is $50 more than it is on the steam store (but at least it is available). edit: I had a mechanical failure under a year. HOWEVER vive replaced it for free and even has a recycling program for the old broken one. Because of this I am raising it to 5 stars for the time being (I will lower it back to 4 if this one dies under a year as well).

Works as advertised with a BSB2 VR HMD. They do make a soft hum while active

Fonctionne très bien et sans anicroche, avec un compte Steam et l'application SteamVR ( obligatoire) Avoir le bluetooth intégré sur le pc est un plus, pour les mises à jour de la base.
