THE BEST RAKE EVER!!!!!!!!
Sturdy rake for raking around shrubs, flowers, vegetables, in little pebbly areas, mulched areas, and many I have yet to discover . Initially, I bought it to rake the rubber mulch out of the grass. Hubby blew leaves last fall and the mulch blew too. Now I use it for so many other projects. With 2 acres of flower gardens it will get used! Adjustable so it can be small to rake the tons of acorns here or large to grab leaves stuck around my flowers and plants. I'm digging moss out along our driveway. I adjust this rake about half way and rake the moss into a pile. All the little "spiral hairs" that fall off our trees (live in the woods-trees everywhere except where cleared for gardens) rake up like a breeze with this rake. The ends are not straight but slightly angled so it snatches everything up. My husband retired from die making and says it's top quality. I've owned several rakes in my lifetime but this is by far the best! I'm using the rake again for those dang acorns (please quit feeding squirrels). The ends aren't angled. I thought they were because they grab like they are-pick up everything!

Versatile, useful, high quality rake.
This rake is everything I didn't know I wanted in a rake. Well worth the upgrade over a cheap plastic or even a fixed-tine metal rake. The adjustability is incredibly useful, and doesn't take away from the sturdiness of the rake at all. This rake works as you'd expect of any leaf rake, but adds in the ability to get into tighter spaces, work well for getting the edges of paths, adjust down to the right spacing to rake landscape rock, gathering leaves and pine needles without picking up the rocks. The handle is nice and long, and doesn't leave me wishing for an extra foot of handle or start making my back ache after a while of use like so many other tools. I expect this rake will hold up well and be extremely useful for years to come.

Sturdy, great rake.
We got this rake to help clear out some of the dried grass in our yard as spring came. We had a couple of plastic ones we had used for raking leaves, but I didn't feel like those were as effective. I saw a neighbor use a metal one on her grass and decided to try it as well. We ended up getting this one because it had one of the widest settings. It's an adjustable rake - a mechanism that slowly closes or opens the tines of the rake depending on what you need. You can close them up to great a thin, 6" or so rake for focused areas, or open it up (like an umbrella) to its full width for raking a wider area. I did learn that it's easy for leaves to get pierced and then build up on the ends, meaning you have to learn it periodically between raking. The tines are flexible, with some give, adjusting to the landscape (we have a hilly backyard). It seems to be very sturdy and good quality. I'm glad we decided to get this :)

Collapsible Head is the Best Feature
It gets the job done as long as the job isn’t a big clean up. If you’ve used metal rakes before you know what to expect, the tines seem a little on the flimsy side but they’re flexible so the leaves don’t accumulate as much on the head itself. That flexibility and size also makes this a good rake to use if you have lots of nooks and crannies in your landscaping that always seem to gather obnoxious amounts of fallen leaves. It definitely works better on grass than say pavement or walkways, and bigger leaves than smaller ones. If you use it on hard surfaces expect to hear a lot of scraping. Again nothing you don’t know if you’ve ever used metal rakes like this before. The best feature by far is the collapsible head. There’s a handle on the rake you slide down to fold out the tines (remember to lock it down) and when you’re done, unlock it and slide it back. Elegant and great for storage - rakes usually take up a lot of room in the shed/garage. The main drawback is you’ll have to rake more with the smaller head and tines. So in sum this is a great supplemental rake especially for light duty and clean up after the main raking is done but you’re definitely going to need a bigger rake to take care of big jobs - like fall in New England for instance.

Better than Leaf blower for dry leavews on lawn
I first tried to use this rake in October to clear the mountains of leaves on my lawn. The leaves were not dry and the rake proved to be pretty much useless. I had to spend days with a heavy duty leaf blower to clear my lawns. Two months later the leaves were dry: what a HUGE difference this made. The rake was much faster and less work than the leaf blower. It clears all the large oak leaves in its path with each stroke, no need to make a 2nd pass over the same area. It weighs a fraction as much as the leaf blower so there is less fatigue. I have the tines spread wide to get the leaves and narrow them down to get the large acorns off the lawn. Excellent product. One tiny complaint: the handle got wet and the polished metal surface has mottled corrosion patterns on it. It would be good for the handle to have a protective coating.

It's the best rake you'll ever own
Most rakes are too short-handled and cumbersome. This one is different. It's the best rake you'll ever own. At full expansion, we could comfortably do our yard chores without an aching back afterward. Easy to transition from broad to narrow blades for tight spaces, making it possible to rake winter debris without injuring emerging plants or moving ornaments. Strong yet lightweight, this rake compacts to take very little storage space, making it ideal to hang in our back mud-room for easy access. Would highly recommend to any home gardener, and would make a useful and unique gift.

Collects lots of leaves, at any opening of the tines. Light weight.
