Brod & Taylor Accessory Shelf with Folding Legs for Folding Proofer & Slow Cooker

This Brod and Taylor Accessory Shelf is perfect! Well built, very functional and easy to use. the second I unpacked it and both saw and felt the quality, and saw the detailed design of the folding legs, I was extremely and 100% pleased. The legs are designed to allow plenty of room for the pan that set's below the top shelf, and where the legs hinge to close, there are very slight ''catches" that help to hold them in place when closed. the material and finish is as good as it gets. I highly recommend the Brod and Taylor Accessory Shelf with Folding Legs for Folding Proofer & Slow Cooker, along with all the other Brod and Taylor products I own. Very well thought out, engineered and constructed, and of course professionally functional.

This fits perfectly in the Brod and Taylor proofing chamber to effectively double the capacity for many items. It works well and doubles as a cooling rack.

Great accessory. Pretty simple, does what it is suppose to do. A great addition to the Folding Bread Proofer from the same company. a couple of critiques that do not merit taking off a star: would have been nice if the extra shelf, and the power cord of the main unit, had storage to keep everything together. Also, not quite sure why the extra shelf has legs, as it hangs from the proof box walls with the aluminum hangers. Maybe I missed something obvious. Anyway, a great option with a simple task. If you own and love the Folding Proof Box, do get this to go with it. Besides integrating storage, the only way they can improve it is to include it with the main unit.

I have used this item twice for proofing bread and making yogurt. Excellent on holding a temperature for making yogurt. My large stock pot fits nicely into the proofer. (Sorry I don't know the size, but I think 8 qt.) I purchased the extra rack to be able to put 4 pans in for proofing. I use a standard amount of dough (540 gm) in 8 x 4 pans. The extra rack that I purchased is too low. The rising dough pushes into it. If you are purchasing I would not waste my $$$ on the extra rack if you are using loaf pans. Secondly, the proofer is not large enough for most of my sheet, bun pans. Make sure you measure any pan that you might want to use in the proofer so that you are not disappointed. An expensive device, but I am a gadget junkie and am very satisfied with it except the fact that I cannot put in four 8 x 4 loaf pans.

Doesn't not come with the manual if you order thru Amazon. It came without a box, just wrapped in bubble wrap. You have to Google for the manual Brod and Taylor Stainless Steel Shelf Kit. Anyway, it does work as stated. Keep in mind the accessory rack will limit the height space for the items on the bottom and top shelf.

I fought this and fought this purchase, but now that I have it I don't know how I lived without it. I use it for sourdough starter and to proof my bread. I had been using my oven, which has a proof setting on it, but it uses too much electricity and the husband was having cows. I bake constantly, and had that oven going 24 hours a day. This has been a lifesaver. Best investment I've made in a while.

This came with no instructions but I had zero trouble figuring ou how to make it work. I used this rack for the bottom shelf since it has foldout legs and used the rack that came with the Proofer to hang on the metal shelves as the top rack, because it does not have foldout legs that would hang onto whatever is below. My only complaint is this price seems too high for what we are getting but then, there is no oher choice unless you are creative enough tot figure out something else on your own, which I am not. Worked perfectly. Wish it could be stred in the unit when folded but no biggie.

Fits perfectly and makes the proofer more versatile. Managed to fit a bowl of bread dough and a container of shaped pizza balls at the same time.

I ordered the shelf kit when I ordered the bread proofer, not knowing if I would actually need it but I'm glad I did! For the times when I want to make two trays of buns this doubles up the space with plenty of room for the bread rise.

Grâce à ces accessoires ingénieux, on multiplie par deux la surface de la chambre et c'est vraiment pratique quand on veut réaliser un beau volume de pain en une fois.

I have had the bread proofed for 5 years and was always trying to stagger and stack a second pan when making cinnamon buns but the bottom tray always ended up getting squished then I found this second shelf and holy cow has it ever made life so much easier!!

Positiv: Das Zusatzgitter ist ein äußerst nützliches Zubehör für den Gärautomaten und sollte meiner Meinung nach zum Standard gehören. Es schafft eine zweite Etage im Automaten und ermöglicht es, mehrere Teiglinge gleichzeitig zu gären. Das Gitter kann jedoch auch als Kuchengitter oder zum Abkühlen von Brot verwendet werden. Besonders praktisch ist der Klappmechanismus, der es ermöglicht, das Gitter einfach zu verstauen, wenn es nicht benötigt wird. Obwohl das Material des Gitters dünn aussieht, ist es erstaunlich stabil und robust. Das Gitter kann sogar zusammengeklappt als Kuchengitter verwendet werden, da es sehr stabil liegt. Negativ: Ich habe keine negativen Aspekte zu diesem Produkt gefunden. Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Zusatzgitter für den Brod & Taylor Gärautomat. Es ist ein sehr praktisches und vielseitiges Zubehör, das den Gärautomaten noch nützlicher macht. Ich empfehle es jedem, der regelmäßig Brot oder Kuchen backt und einen Gärautomaten besitzt.

Haven't used it yet - but I'm sure it will come in handy when I make more than one bread - OR when I make yogourt! It did arrive quickly and with with no issue!
