Great buy for the money!
I really like this & it works great! I bought a new desktop PC and most of them now come without a DVD CD rewriter, . This plug and play fit the bill! I would recommend this!

Quality inexpensive drive
Solved my CD drive issues perfectly. My HP laptop is a few years old and the internal disc drive was acting up, so before replacing the computer, my wife suggested this option. It arrived yesterday and I'm happy to report it was exactly what I needed. Easy to install and use. I was able to add my recent purchases to my music library in a fraction of the time it was taking. Very satisfied customer!

Great replacement for the Apple accessory drive for my iMac, which I misplaced. Apple no longer offers these for sale.

Useful
This external DVD drive works perfectly right out of the box. It’s lightweight, reads discs quickly, and connects easily with USB. Great choice for laptops and desktops without built-in drives.

Works well and nicely packaged/sized
Great size. It’s so small, well packaged and organized that I kept the package it came in. Works nicely on my new HP for dvds!

Piece of Garbage
I don't know who has been writing all the favorable reviews of this device, but mine is a piece of garbage. It worked once. Once, only. Then the tray stopped ejecting, and the CDs I made were full of static. I have been making music with computers since 1985, and I teach this stuff, so I know it was not the material that was being burnt, it is the drive. It is now gracing my garbage can. Spend a little more money and get something reliable. But don't buy this.

Works well with Mac Book Pro
I got this to upload years of photos and family videos off of old CDs. I have a MacBook Pro with the M1 chip. I literally plugged it in to the laptop out of the box, threw in a CD from 2003 full of photos. They uploaded from the drive in less than 60 seconds (91 jpg files). Could not be easier. The drive came with both USB C and B. I am using the C port. Super happy and the price was right too.

Inexpensive solution for my need to play CDS on my computer
CD Drive is compatible with my Dell Desktop running Windows 11. It is plug and play without loading software. It does everything I need. Of course, since it is new, I cannot testify to longevity of the product.
