update
Just received this snatch block today, haven't used it yet. Other reviews complained about the circlip on the axle coming off. This one came with an allen head shoulder bolt and a ny-lock nut. Some reviewers also questioned the small diameter of the sheave wheel. The thimble used to create the loop at the end of the cable on my 2500lb winch is quite a bit smaller. I see no problem with the diameter of this wheel.First I took it apart and put some Lubriplate white grease on the inside and outside of the sleeve that acts as a bearing. Then used it to test pull my pickup truck up the driveway, worked very well..

Smaller than I expected, and different from the picture.
These seem serviceable, even though a bit smaller than I expected. Would be great if one of the product photos showed the actual measurements. Picture shows the spindle secured with a snap ring. Mine came with a bolt and a locking nut, which raises the profile. But that works too. Only planning to use these for occasional winching with wire cable, so they should be fine.

It's cute but I returned it
Cute, appears sturdy and probably has some utility in some applications - but I couldn't get a soft shackle through the opening. Returned it and bought a KFI ATV block - roughly the same price but has a larger shackle opening. I use it for general ATV work with a 2500lb winch (synthetic line): logging, extraction, etc. The KFI is slightly larger but rated @ 8K lbs (vice 4K) and still small enough to get stowed away on the ATV somewhere. I find snatch blocks more useful than rings sometimes since the line tends to fall out of rings when untensioned - so end up using the rings for direction changes and the blocks for MA. Good video review up here showing the 2 SBs side by side.

Bear Claw Snatch Block - more third-world junk
BEAR CLAW SNATCH BLOCK by The Extreme Max Store:Numerous forewarnings in past reviews on this site by verified purchasers notwithstanding, we gullible Americans seem to have a penchant for believing that sellers like THE EXTREME MAX STORE have surely cleaned their product up by now and subsequently convince ourselves that we won’t be the next victim. After you’ve ignored the advice of these dissatisfied customers, as I did, and are certain you are familiar with the third-world junk you just paid for, DO NOT HESITATE TO SEND IT BACK!. It’s not enough to say that the tolerances and craftsmanship seen in this product are just crude! This level of crudeness is absolutely hazardous!‘Bob’ nailed the problem with the Bear Claw in his review September 18, 2017:“Quite disappointed in the product. Certainly heavy duty cheeks and sheave. Sleeve bearing has very loose fit to shaft and sheave but worse is the dangerous gap between sheave and cheeks allowing cable to slip into this space. One user said it blew apart during use and I suspect this is what happened. Should work well as long as user exhibits very much care to ensure perfect alignment after wire is tensioned before applying load. If it slacks, and retentioned without rechecking that the wire is properly aligned in the sheave, failure and injury will occur.”SEND IT BACK - or just don’t waste your time and money on it in the first place!
