I used this product on my main pc. while using it i found some things that i like and a few i didnt like:Like:1. I like that it takes the work out of having to go through all of the settings to clear junk files and temporary files which in turn frees up your pc's memory.2.Very fast to run a scan on your pc and to remove the old files is just quick and painless.3. It is very simple just a few simple clicks on big plain text buttons so no need to have alot of knowledge on computer software so almost any one with the basic understanding on running a simple program can use it.Con:1. it does not show you exsactly what it will erase other than simple text saying is temporary files and but so far i have not found any missing important files that i have saved so i feel safe to delete what ever files it deemes necessary for removal2. only major con i did not like it comes in a regular 5x7x1 inch box with just a card inside with an activation code maybe just do the transaction with an email with the code to save time on shipping but other than that it is very useful software to keep your pc running fast.

I ordered this software to get my old desktop computer working better. It really has not made a difference in it. The one thing it does best for me is removing old files and folders, and programs from the computer.

I have use Iolo products in the past. I find it easy to do. The only thing I did not like when I ordered. I am old school and I wanted a discount not just a code to get into the product. That's why I gave it 4 stars. On Amazon it states "disc" but no disc.

I had to remember to take out the cd after installing it before I restarted computer. My computer had been a mess so it took hrs for it to optimize the hard drive so I left it on overnight and darn if Windows update didn't happen to download the latest updates at the same time and it restarted my computer so I had to start all over again. However once it finally optimized the hard drive and I understood how to use the features and got it going the computer is now running much smoother and I don't have to buy a new computer. I think it is a super product.

System mechanic is not the same as it use to be, I've been a customer for over 10 years, not anymore, it is now ran by crooks, first of all the one I got last year quit working right before the year was even up, the only thing that worked was the anti virus, now the one I get this year from iolos store on amazon, which I thought would be a disc, but is a activation code, everything works but the anti virus, I downloaded, used the code, did everything box/tutorial said, I call customer support, this dude that can barely speak or understand english, wants my order number from amazon, and tons of my unnecessary information, then he wants to do a remote session where he gets into my pc, I said I'm not doing a remote set up, (don't trust it because of the poor service I've had) dude says well because I bought it off amazon I don't have an account, that I'll have to pay 19.99 a month for tech support, and for $239 he can give me an extended version of professional version of system mechanic for 3 years, I'm so glad I didn't let crook in my pc.

I did not plan on paying every month.

I downloaded the program and went throught the setup. It asked if I had activation code or was just trying before buying. I had bought it and had activation code, but it didn't have anywhere to put it in. So I called them for assistance, bad mistake. She was foreign accent, hard to understand, then she tried to sell me other features, one of $300 and another to save my files for $600!! I just wanted system mechanic and help installing it. Over an hour on the telephone.

Dans mon cas sa fonctionne très bien sur tous mes ordis et laptop. Un peu difficile pour l'installation par contre un peu de patience et de compréhension...
