SpaceKeeper Workbench Casters Are A Great Product
These casters are well made, surprisingly heavy and work very well. I have a single car garage and have many tools, cabinets and workstations. I used these on a metal worktable and on a bench for my router. I can move them easily to wherever I need them and then lock them for a stable worktable while they are in use. Very stable. They are larger than most casters but gives you confidence that they hold the amount of weight they claim. The price is very reasonable too.

4.5 Stars, Good Product, Quality of Material Less Than Ideal
If I could have given 4 1/2 stars, I would have. The instructions are not quite adequate. Had to look at the photos of the product on Amazon to know which side of the bottom plate was up, as instructions were unclear. Installation was straightforward. Can be installed with accompanying tools, but I would suggest getting out your own wrenches/sockets (metric) for a slightly easier job. Not really excited by the quality of the bolts, though they seem to be holding up right now. Seem cheap. Otherwise, all good. Had to lift up on a fully loaded table to get the wheels down; my full weight (185 lbs) was not enough to do it by foot pressure alone. Overall, a good idea, and worth the money, even if they could have splurged a little more on the bolts.

Well made heavy duty casters function exactly as described!
I constructed a heavy duty lathe workbench from Fir 4 x 4s and 2 x 4s plus two layers of 3/4” MDF for the top. I selected the Model 3000 Premium Workbench Casters primarily for their retractability, weight capacity of 660 lbs heavy duty construction and designed around 2.5” wide legs or greater. The Casters were easy to assemble but I would recommend assembling one first to understand the design. Included with the parts were two wrenches for tightening nuts & bolts however I also used a metric socket set as well. The Easy-Install Template is a snap to use and accurate. I used Frogtape to draw center lines and hold Template in place on the legs because the legs were finished. Since my 4 x 4 legs actually measured 3.5” sq. I was able to use the 4 corner holes. With Template in place I used a center punch to locate the holes precisely through the Template. The Wood Screws included with the Workbench Casters were a disappointment. The Phillips heads were easy to cam-out despite a new driver bit and clutch setting of the drill driver. I opted for a heavier #10 x 1.5” Drill Screw with 5/16” Hex Head and continued driving screws with nut driver bit. I found it much easier to attach the Leg Mounting Plate to the bench leg first, drive in the screws and then assemble the remaining caster parts because the 5/16”Hex Head required more space between the Pedal Bracket Assembly and Leg Mounting Plate. Your choice. The Movable Pedal of the Workbench Caster has a cam like bottom edge that exerts considerable force on the Wheel Mounting Plate when pushing down to elevate workbench. I noticed a metallic rubbing sound on one caster assembly. I applied a fine bead of white grease to the bottom edge of the Movable Pedal to lubricate that mating surface. The Model 3000 Premium Workbench Casters are well made, function exactly as designed and compliment my lathe bench. The completed workbench and lathe weigh in at 256 lbs well within the capacity of the casters. It’s possible for me to elevate the workbench and move it away from wall for cleaning.

Good value
Just finished installing them on a work table project, the tools provided are sufficient to do the job. The castor seemed to be a good quality and they installed easily. You do need to watch for the different lengths of screws and adjust the tension properly on the foot lovers other than that pre-drill pre-drill pre-drill or replaced the screw screws with self drilling screws. I think I'll buy these again if I need to build another workbench.

great product
these casters perform excellent. They arrived exactly as described and function as expected. The quality of the brackets and wheels is very good. I have ordered four sets at different times and the quality is consistent each time.

The jury is still out. Maybe I'll go back to my Harbor Freight casters.
While the components of the actual casters seem sturdy enough, the screws to attach them to the workbench are kinda shit. Of the first 3 screws used, my DeWalt impact driver torqued the heads of 2 of them. And it wasn't like I was attaching the casters to hardwood... just plain old SPF 2x4's from the local big Box. Of the remaining screws, many of them stripped during installation... so I guess they are there more or less permanently now. Tip 1: Go get yourself some screws made out of actual hard metal. Throw the included screws in the bin. Tip2: As you assemble each caster, make sure to tighten the top bolt (that holds the cam onto the assembly) good and tight. If it's too loose, the whole unit will not easily hold up the workbench when in the mobile position. After attaching all 4 corners, I had to go back and retighten all the nuts so that the corners did not "sag". Tip3: DO NOT attach the caster to the rest of the assembly until the rest of the assembly is attached to the workbench. It will be impossible to screw the bottom of the assembly to the bench with the castor in place. Tip 4: Be prepared for the increased footprint of your workbench. These castors add almost a foot to the width or length of the workbench. For me, this means that my bench can no longer sit up against a wall without a gap. If you have a shop that it tight on space, these may not be the castors for you. Also, if you have built your bench top to be a specific height off the floor with castors attached, depending on your bench design, these castors may end up lowering your bench height when in the non-mobile position. In the end, I'm not sure if these castors are going to remain on my workbench. I may just go back to the Harbor Freight castors that they replaced.

I purchased these retractable castors to add to a large workbench I was building for my garage. The casters didnt disappoint. They are extremely well made and cope very well with the weight of the bench. They lift the bench with ease and its a breeze to move it around the garage on the 3" wheels I cant recommend them highly enough and wouldnt hesitate to buy them again

I have these wheels under my workbench which is 200+kg. It so nice to be able to lift and move it on my own. The wheels were very easy to install and run smoothly. The only problem I have with them is that they stick out quite a lot, even when retracted. I often hit my toes against them when I walk around my bench. If there is space for the wheels (and your foot!) I recommend installing them on the inside of your bench.

Product is very well made. Solid built, with ball bearing wheels. Would buy these next time I need them.

The product came with a template for installation which made things easy. The casters work great making my work bench easy to move. I Highly recommend this product.
